How are people going to try and defend nami and ahri?

Nami and Ahri are literally the Graves of mid and support. People use graves winrate and playrate as an example, but ignore both ahri's and nami's? Ahri and nami dominate both lanes in almost every elo, you cant have these double standards just because they arent jax or graves.

Other champions being strong, along with how long champions have been strong doesnt matter, because one nami has been top tier the entire season, and two they can nerf them all at once so it doesnt matter.

No the graves of support is Alistar. And yet he's never nerfed despite being pick ban in competitive and being a horrendous generalist in soloqueue. But sure, we can nerf Nami who is squishy, has high mana costs, high CDs, hard to land CC, and is the last surviving enchanter in the game.

Ahri sure

Nami I don't really consider that great tbh, immobile, squishy, wind ups on all her abilities to telegraph, like whenever I see a nami lane that's usually the target lane for me to gank. Idk why they're nerfing her when she's decent at least for once.

Both nami and ahri do not have high enough stats to say they should be nerfed whereas graves does he has a 23% playrate, 51% winrate and a 37% banrate all in diamond+ both ahri and nami do not have stats as high as that and also saying they dominate both lanes is a lie like they dont at all there are much better mids then ahri and much better supports then nami.

The problem is that so many champions have been stronger for longer and yet are ignored, like Graves, Jhin, Kaisa, and Evelynn.

Nami is doing well because this is the kind of meta she thrives in. She counters the high aggression, high burst that everyone is playing. Traditionally it would have been Janna to thrive in this meta, but her along with a lot of other enchanters have been nerfed into being irrelevant. Why are assassins and other high burst or high aggro champs the only ones that are allowed to be good. I would much rather play against a Nami than a Brand, Zed, or Talon. At least with Nami I only have to worry about her CC. I know she can't poke me as consistently as a lot of other supports because her poke costs so much mana and has a long cooldown plus it doesn't deal that much damage.
