Whats one word or sentence that can shut down any toxic players? i usually just mute them but im just curious

Normally in a ranked game with a toxic player:

Toxic player: "LOL UR GOLD 4 FKIN NOOB!"

Me: "Uhh dude, we're in the same team. Hence, same MMR. So.. u2, noob"

They usually follow up with retorts that only solidify their ban, provided their behavior is consistent between games at all.

Almost any time I've 'had' to say it, I was graced with a feedback report.

Is it a bit scummy to bait them into getting banned? Yeah, probably. Do they still deserve it? Yeah, probably.

Why would you wanna make them even more toxic? When they're toxic they usually play less and chat more I get that its to get them banned, and what if they start inting? (If they weren't before) It could costs you a game so im not too on with this

Usually the point where I say something like that is after the game is already set in stone. I usually don't chat at all if the game is winnable unless I'm directing the team toward some objective/win condition so everyone's on the same page.

Sometimes I'll tell people to chill out and that we're fine, just farm, etc.

Announcing reports is as bannable as the toxic attitude. The real answer is to ignore, then if it goes on, mute and report at the end of the game and don't say anything about it. Just put in the comment section of the report what toxic chat or behaviors took place and let riot handle it. If the player keeps up their bad attitude it will show from several reports in several games.

Saying that you're reporting someone isn't reportable or bannable. ASKING for reports for someone else is.

None. If you just let toxic people ramble on, thats about as far as it goes. They will grumble, get whatever they said out of their system, and still be playing the game.

The real issue is when 2 people start arguing, and they always do. You always have the do gooder who wants to shut the toxic guy up, then you have 2 guys arguing, one of them ends up just throwing the game, or they keep sabotaging each other.

The best thing you can do is just ignore it. Its like looking a gorilla in the eye or something.
