Why I think Yasuo is actually balanced

To begin with, I main Yasuo, I've been playing him since just a little after he first came out. I know what I'm talking about. When Yasuo was first released, he wasn't exactly in a healthy spot, but after receiving almost exclusively nerfs for a long time, he stayed that way up into season 5. And now the new masteries are very helpful to his cause. But anyway, I'm just gonna tell you real quick how to beat Yasuo 100% of the time, in and out of lane.

Yasuo is a very aggressive character, his E puts him out of position and pushes the wave, his ult often throws him into an entire team, and his windwall does not move with him, and has around a 16 second cooldown at max rank. And Yasuo normally doesn't build cooldown reduction to begin with. And his Q is one the smallest skillshots in the game! But other than those little things, Yasuo is fairly strong, and it is very obvious between the difference of a skilled Yasuo player than someone who just picked the champ up. A skilled Yasuo player is more aggressive, smarter with his plays, and is able to plot out an escape. Your job as the enemy laner is not to let him just waltz up to you and do that.

As reiteration- do NOT let a Yasuo just get into your face and do what he wants. He will kill you, you are now dead.

Yasuo's Problems in Lane: Yasuo does very little damage before he gets his first few items. Most mages are as well, but the difference is that Mages are ranged while Yasuo is melee, abuse him in lane, don't spam your mana bar out, but do make sure he knows who is boss. Be careful though, because once Yasuo hits level 2 and gets both q and e he can be much more aggressive, which means you have to be able to push him around more. The early push is everything for Yasuo, he can't kill you at all if you're under tower in the early stages. In fact, Yasuo has a very hard time poking if you position yourself well. Positioning is one of the most important parts of League Of Legends, and I see it being ignored when I play Yasuo. And I'm sure many other Yasuo players do as well. He is a character that punishes bad positioning. You can physically see how many stacks of his Q he has, and when he starts to dash around your minions, you should know not to get close to your minions and that you should back off and harass him for being so aggressive. I know from experience that the moment a TF pulls his gold card out he's going to throw it, so I out up my windwall and get give it a second, he threw the card, then I go on him. That is simple decision making that fails on the TF's part. TF needs to hold onto the card and use it as a threat. "if you come towards me I can guarantee a lot of damage on you." But he doesn't most of the time, allowing Yasuo to win lane by snowballing off of those simple mistakes. And every mage has at least one way of dealing with Yasuo, it's just how you use your kit in correlation to his.

When Yasuo throws his Windwall at you, you have 20 seconds to harass before he has it again. Use this time. When Yasuo tries his E-Q combo, then you walk toward him, you have now dodged the E-Q combo. When Yasuo tries to fight you, and you move in janky ways that make it hard to follow, he misses his Q. When Yasuo E's up to you, and you throw your whole kit and he just Windwall's it and you get upset, that was him outplaying your incredibly predictable play.

I haven't gone over everything to make a Yasuo beg for mercy in front of you, but I do hope this helped, if you have any further complaints or questions please place them in the comments in a concise, easy to understand way so that I may place my opinion in there and hopefully change your mind on a couple of things. And Remember, a good Yasuo makes it look easy to win, a practiced Yasuo wins, but a new Yasuo ranks Q first.

You don't have a single ranked game as Yasuo.

Because ranked has been full of people who A) don't know the champ they are playing, B) don't know/aren't experienced with their role, or C) Don't know what to do after the 20 minute mark. So I prefer to play with my friends who do know what they are doing most of the time and we usually get very good players on the enemy team. Usually.

P.S. Next season I'm climbing the ladder, I just don't care right now :)

And besides (I forgot to put this in the original reply) people that I face in ranked are worse than the people I face in normals. So I prefer to face the challenging lot right now and climb later.
