Can we talk about Blue Build Ezreal?

Blue Build Ezreal is not the only build in the world, Ezreal players.

Every single time I play League of Legends and there is an Ezreal on either team, it feels as if there's a 90% chance it's a Blue Build.

And these Blue Build Ezreal players don't change their build to meet the problems they face, they don't change how they play, even if it is not what the team needs.

Blue Build does not assist every team.

Blue Build is a build that gives you, as Ezreal, a great amount of kiting power. You have a great amount of slows and higher resistances. However, you don't have much damage in between your spells, nor do you have a lot of damage out of the gate.

A regular build has a total amount of more burst and sustain damage, and isn't strict about what you build or when.

If your team needs burst, don't build Blue Build, if your team needs more cc and has the ADC role covered by someone else, take Blue Build.

But this is very rare and specialized, if you need armor that Blue Build gives you, then take GA.

i think building blue is the safest way to go. the damage is still not far off from trinity force. also crit builds on ezreal are shit so thats outta the window. the only two choices you have is trinity force or iceborn you can still keep the manamune with either i think manamune is a must on ezreal. i mean the damage from the manamune is just insane. i mean ezreal with manamune falls off hard without it he falls off even harder.

if they make his Q crit then he will probably have two paths. crit or non crit.

i hated the trinity build when i first started playing him so i started using a muramara atk spd build felt like shit, but better than tri force.

atk speed builds also feel bad on him but not too bad

ICB only offers 250 extra mana compared to Tri force. and 2% for manamune is 5 extra AD. Which is by far off set by the 25 AD already on Tri force.

I think one of the bigger hurtles is the power spike that you get with ICB, comes much earlier than Tri force. Tri force is way ware expensive. Also the TF changes have reduced Ez's build options, since it no longer Synergizes with ER like it use to. It's still probably more useful on Ez than before, but Ez is still reliant on Manamune for his mana costs.

and yes, you can alter your build for the matchup. I tend to prefer ICB against AD heavy teams, simply because the Armor helps with dueling. (It's not just the kiting power) Especially when fighting the enemy ADC.

I want to know these builds you talk about, I was on a game as ezreal recently and I found myself seriously lost trying to use a regular build on him, I wanted to go with Triforce but I figured that I needed some mana so I went with tear... and then an essence reaver... yeah I know wtf I was seriously lost lol

I mean, you could possibly go essence reaver i guess if you really didn't want to go blue ezreal but that's such a waste...

Manamune works so well on ezreal that i don't see why you wouldn't pick it up.

You need at least essence reaver or manamune to not have mana issues, and seeing that essence reaver is more crit oriented, manamune is always better.

Trinity doesn't give anymore crit, so that path on ezreal isn't really optimal.(i mean going crit, i'm not talking about going trinity!)

So depending on what you consider 'blue ez', yes trinity is quite good instead of Iceborn Gauntlet, but for the rest of the stuff it's pretty much needed...
