I understand that If you have a higher rank then you are most likely better then lower rank people but when you just like to play the game for fun in normals i don't get why people like to be toxic because they are higher rank then you (well from my experience with plat5 and upwards players in normals)

I don't mind saying I am bronze. I don't mind playing vs bronze. Those games can be fun. I don't mind playing vs higher ranks on occasion. But if I am constantly outmatched, then it stops being fun and isn't helpful. I probably should not care about my opponents rank. I used to warn my team on opponents rank, but a lot of them just said shut up. Now I don't really bother looking up ranks until postgame. But originally the idea was it lets you know if you should safe farm or not, sometimes it really helped.
