What do I even build on Zilean anymore?

I love playing Zilean and just goofing around, but I also have a decent win rate in ranked with him. However, with the support item changes, what do I even build anymore? For me I'm currently looking at:

-Eye of the Watchers -Redemption -Shoes of some sort -Randuin's Omen (for the slow; always a good buy on a support in my opinion) -Control Wards -Idk

Thoughts? No items really suit my play style on Zilean. I'm more of a peel/defend-my-team type of Support player, not damage.

I like to go tear into a seraph's/morello's/RoA perhaps/Liandry's/deathcap kind of build even as support. not like he has any utility scalings or heals so I may as well have his lategame bombs hurt as much as possible.

If you are that kind of player, zilean isn't the champ for you. try braum or tahm kench.

As long as you hit 40/45% cdr you're fine, the best way to peel as Zil is to have your abilities up as often as possible.

Uploaded this a bit ago, but I've been bouncing in between 60-70% win ratio with Zilean in ranked. The bad side: You are completely and totally useless with this build early on. The meta doesn't benefit mid-late game champs very much at this moment.

Max W - Why? Because it gives you flexibility over just maxing E.

Max E next - Why? Because you will have a permanant 99% slow at rank 12 with the new coin or rank 13. I recommend getting the coin, however, unless if you're in an aggressive match up like Leona/Draven.

Q - It doesn't matter, you'll never do damage. EVER.

What you should buy with my build:

20+ %CDR @lvl 18 item 3070 item 3158 item 2302 or item 2045 you will have any other items as a means of freedom to build with. Look at the enemy team and your team for hints at items - if that doesn't matter to you, I like to build warmogs so I can stay out and gather EXP. Plus, I get CDR if I really need it.
