I was placed in silver 5 flex for pre season ranked now i finsih my placements and im bronze 4 lmao

Preseason to me is simply a time to test new champions, champion reworks, new items, or even new game mechanics, all while having the competitive nature of the game preserved.

As for the rank you got in preseason and the one you got this new season, they are for the most part unrelated. Riot has said something along the lines of, the majority of players will be placed lower than the previous season due to the top percentage of players getting shifted down. All this means is, everyone is getting placed a lot lower than they were last season. The following is only my speculation: This might mean that players will have a harder time reaching the rank they want because of time constraints, or if the curve of all players is being shifted down (kind of like what happened in CS:GO where there were too many players at the higher ranks, so they shifted people down) then achieving a higher rank might not be possible now because better players are also lower now. My only advice, don't be upset if you got placed lower than you had hoped, and play the game and eventually you should return to where you were. Good luck!

Really there was no point even trying in placements... Should have just trolled for 10 games than trying to carry the unskilled players I seem to get matched with EVERY game.
