Its not riot's fault you are so far below the average player... well I mean unless you're counting people who jump into ranked with no fucking clue what game theyre playing or what day of the year it is and are like "woah mannnnnnnnnnnnnng" cuz their brains are fried.
Who are you kidding? Gold V is where unmotivated ranked accounts end up cuz they just wanted the prize at the end of season. If you don't want new players get out of gold V.
They likely dynamic q'd with one of your teammates.

Having new level 30 players in ranked creates dozens and dozens of artificial losing games that deflate climbing to players not at their skill level. It is a fact that it happens often and is one of the biggest problems in climbing ranked.
I've lost a few hundred games to these types of new 30 players. Due to frequency I am not even trying anymore in ranked since the skill level is so bad. I'm bored and I can't improve because there's not a meta where I can improve in aka Gold 4+. So I just observe the low elo meta and look at all the mistakes players are making for following some YT video.
When I want to win I just play my stronger champions and hope my team doesn't have feeders in every lane.
worst part late in the season is seeing unranked players on your team. Either they going to be really good smurf or brand new player which pretty much means auto loss.
