It's so stupid, kinda feels like an in game caste system. Some Diamond players are garbage i mean, look at Gbay99. Some of us silvers are good but need to learn to solo carry, I always win lane too. I just finished my 10 promo games and got placed in silver 4 because 2 of those games they decided to troll and 1 of them i had a really good score as vi jg and when me and the other carry died, they decided to backdoor and we lost the game cause the enemy killed our nexus first.

Gbay99 isn't garbage. He's just better in different ways. It's the same for every player, though it takes a lot of gameplay to really unlock your 'potential' or improve.

Platinum/Diamond are just people who've played for a long time and actually know how to apply what they've learned, while Silver and Bronze are people who may be decent or know the game, but lack the ability to apply what they learn each game, and so they lack the ability to push leads, close out their games, and usually brush off each death without pinpointing why they died.

I had to learn to solo-carry to get to Gold this Season, and then I had to improve at not giving leads to make it to Plat this Season.

Well, it's true that people in Diamond or plat are obviously better than people in silver. Not necessarily mechanically, but just overall.

So in a way, yes, compared to them, we are pretty bad

People in Diamond are BEYOND better than Silvers. They would probably go 30/3/8 in any Silver game as one of their mains. That said, you're not garbage. You just need to practice, learn, and apply what you learn properly.

As for Plat, I can reliably do stupid stuff like going Ryze APC Botlane and get 2 digit kill-scores and a fully stacked mejais by the end of the game in Silver. Again, not to say Silvers are garbage, they just usually don't know how to avoid dieing or how to play when behind, skills a Plat has to learn to stay where they are.

True garbage stays garbage. Garbage doesn't improve with time. Silvers aren't garbage. They are improving over time. Bronze aren't garbage, because they're also improving over time.

To be honest, the higher MMR people are the more stagnant. They improve less because they have less to improve or aren't able to figure out what they're doing wrong. Think of Silver/Bronze ELO as being the equivalent of a child-- You might not be strong now, but someday you could be, if you take good care of yourself (Or, in this case, watch other people, learn from them, and practice)

well the one thing they do have over alot of lower tier players is playing with incomplete information.

which comes from having alot of gameknowledge and alot of experience aswell as good map awareness and using communication to track the enemy.

The other thing is keeping an eye on things like dragon timer/baron timer important cooldowns from your team and the enemy. Like summoners and ultimates.

Then using this gameknowledge and incomplete information to know when to fight when to trade objectives when to concede things when to contest jungle etc etc

And finally, vision they will trade an item for a sightstone if vision isnt good enough because vision is your strongest weapon, a ward is as powerfull as 25 infinity edges.

Haven't you been here for the dynamic queue debacle? Ranks don't mean anything anymore. Riot's handing out participation badges and you can pay to become platnum. The only time you're garbage is when you come on this shit show of a board, let someone tell you you're garbage, and believe it.

"Scrub" is stupid anyway. From what I understand, it derives from the athletic term for "bench player". I want to say they call them scrubs because they're bench warmers (who "scrub" the equipment for a living), but in a game with no bench... I dunno. Doesn't make sense to me.

meh..... what is good though. You might think your good because u beat people around your rank but.... that doesn't mean your good. We all are pretty shit just less shitty at higher ranks.

I hate when people say "I was x rank after placements and lost x games cuz of trolls/afks/etc". Like no shit that has never happened to every one of us? Not saying your bad but everyone thinks their good at this game.

If good = better than average then yea a lot of us are good. If good = master/challenger then most of us are shit. So what do you define is good?

HAHA you are bronze dude, I climbed out of bronze on multiple accounts and I can do that again, blind, with one hand, with a boner, a whore on my tail, 50kg weight on my back and all this while suffering through a really hard cold. If you think dq remotely affects you, you have simply no idea and you shouldn't be allowed to access the internet. I'm not a fan of dq but nobody unter platinum 1 or even diamond 3 has an idea about what is going on.

Dude, for some people, silver isn't easy to get out of. Hell, last season i was mid silver and now I'm high bronze and ya wanna know why. Because i lost a fucking finger on my left had at scout camp. All people have something that can hold them back like slow reflexes or something serious like myself. A player may excel in lanning but may not be great at transitioning that power to grouping. Or they may just be way easier to tilt than others and just over react when they make a mistake. And, statistically speaking. Silver is where the vast majority of players are. Silver is average. Thats what it is. Gold and everything above it is above average while bronze is where everyone below average is. Also, merely telling someone to get good isnt a valid argument. At least give some constructive criticism on how to improve rather than telling them they are bad. Lastly, you are level 10. If you feel like his statements are less valued than you have no ground to stand on. Unless you can physically prove you have a main account at a higher ranking than your entire argument is null.

This is late, but which finger? If it's one on the left end of your hand, just move your computer to face north so you're using your left-hand for your mouse and your right for your keyboard. Might work better for you. And sorry for your loss.

I lost my pinkie finger. I had to and am still adapting to using space for my q instead. I would swap hands but i have a right-handed mouse.

This might just be something that works for me, but I don't actually use my pinky for my Q, probably because I have my QWER swapped to the 1234 keys which are elevated and go slightly more to the right. I do use it for my pings though, so you could consider swapping to 1234 and binding your spacebar to the MIA ping. Again, up to you if you want to try that, though.

I'd say the bigger problem is people equating rank to game knowledge and using the fact that someone is higher rank to refute a balance/gameplay argument. In a Solo Queue environment, mechanics are by far the most meaningful thing on deciding who wins, not game knowledge. Likewise, someone can know a lot about the game, and yet still lose because it is hard to translate into a low-communication environment.

I hate to break it to ya, but even people in plat and diamond consider themselves bad, those even in challenger will say the same every now and then.

It's a matter of perspective, but when you're "average" and that average is... well, in this case low silver, of course the people in the top 7% (plat roughly) are going to judge the other 90% because they are, statistically, worse than them...

Dynamic Queue causes issues with this, and is bullshit, but the point still stands in most cases, everyone thinks everyone around them is garbage, so everyone below them CLEARLY is, from a statistics viewpoint.

this is coming from a plat 2, currently, scrub who is aiming for diamond; people here are garbage in many cases and I fuck up just as often, but we all play better than silvers, bronzes especially, and golds who we've outranked... (again, DQ issues but... yeah)

Don't lie; Higher Rank = Higher Skill in the grand scheme of things.

The Average Plat is better than the Average Gold player.

The Average Gold 4 player is more skilled than the Average Gold 5 player.

If you're low rank, it's because you're bad. The end.

Bronze brackets (aka bronze and silver) are full of literally the worst level 30 players in the game.

Gold is where a player can declare themselves to be not garbage.

Plat is a player.

Diamond is a good player.

Well Gbay99 is more of a team player who knows how to play with his leads, and he knows what to do at what time in the game (most of the time). Plus if you win lane and can't win the game than try to learn to help your team more.

Some Diamond players you watch may seem bad; because, you watch them play against other Diamond level players. It's like calling a challenger bad because he/she sometimes plays poorly against other challenger players.

P.S. Gbay99 stated in his Road to Diamond series multiple times that he seems to play worse while recording

then you aren't good? I mean isn't that what makes someone good, you can carry at that elo. that is how you climb. you climb by being better than that elo so much that you just solo carry games or carry most of your games by being consistent and reliable.

just because you know how to get fed in lane doesn't mean you are good. just because you have a good KDA every game does not mean you are good. bronze and silver players are super delusional I have found while I smurf. they literally point out all their teammates mistakes and never focus on their own and that is why they are stuck in silver. that's it. they think oh I'm performing well but my teammates are awful every single game.

so yes, silver and bronze players are garbage. thats ok though, we were all garbage at some point. admitting it is first step to getting better.

hell even in plat 4 I consider myself hot garbage. I'm awful at this game compared to where i want to be. and some of my roles are terribad.

I get what you're saying, but from experience alone I can tell that Silver players do NOT have neither the technical skills no knowledge of the game to properly comment on balance in a serious manner. For one, they always blame their teammates when they lose, which is something that OP is already doing in his very first post in this thread.

I'm not saying they can't talk about the balance of the game, but it's frustrating when someone who can't even break into Silver 1 begins berating Riot for the game's balance and that they should gut X or Y Champion (gutting a Champion isn't a good balance suggestion).

So yeah, I understand where you're coming from, but if you can't really dedicate yourself to this game and get better then those who have done so won't have a good view of you if you begin acting like your opinion is gold (pun not intended).

You have a 45% winrate in Silver 4, with barely 20 games on that one champ you are half decent with. Your KDAs are mostly garbage on any champ, including Fiora. In case you did not know, sub 3 KDA is not an amazing feat.

I've been playing since end of S2 when TPA defeated Azubu Frost. Started rank in S3.

You are the one who assumed my skill and challenged me to a 1v1. Not me. And you can shriek all you want about my tanked MMR. I had a loss streak last week. And a win streak yesterday. My winrate is 50%. And even if my MMR was Gold 1 currently. I would still win that 1v1.

EDIT: in S3 when i first played ranked, I placed bronze 3 and fell to bronze 5. In s4. I placed bronze 3 again and climbed to silver 4. At that moment. I thought I deserved better. I claimed that people in my elo were the only reason I was stuck in "elo hell" and some guy I knew who was plat then told me "everybody in bronze and silver claim that shit. Just learn to improve"

Obviously I wouldn't believe it. How could I suck? Anyway. I did and wouldn't admit it. Season 5 comes around and I fight my way from bronze 2 to Gold 3 then fall back to gold 5 and the season ended.

Now season 6 comes around. I place bronze 1 lol. Lost 7 placement games. Anyway 9 days later I'm gold again. And the I hit a wall. I could've blamed elo hell. Or my teammates. Or Obama. But I looked at myself and fixed what i was doing wrong. In 2 weeks after that fact. I hit plat 5.

So my tip to you is: learn from your mistakes and stop being so pissed about other players in your team. Everyone loses games. Even Faker lost games.
