what's the name of the employee who thought of this? League really needed this, i was getting bored of this non-rewarding system with few IP to win that this hextech system is gona make me play every day all day now :D
While everyone will no doubt rave about how Riot is being generous giving stuff away for free, they completely ignore that Riot is collecting a heavy price which is their time. Reward systems like this are always gimmicky. They are always an extreme time sink to get something in return and they are always randomized, in favor of not cutting into Riot's profits.
Time is worth far more than money.
