I want an option in settings that disables the forfeit notification box pop-up
I'm asking for an additive feature for people to personally be able to disable the pop-up box in settings. You can still see that someone started a vote for surrender in the chat and type /ff to say yes.
The pop-up box is an annoying eyesore and gets in the way. I never forfeit under any circumstances because I do not like giving up at any point.
The forfeit option is litterally toxic and just allows people to be annoying, wine, cry, and flame people for not surrendering when they themselves have given up already.
What do you want me to do with my 0/18 hyper feeding bot lane who keep saying "Who said no" in chat and "gnar and evelynn think this is winnable lmao" when me and my top laner both have positive scores and are still applying pressure on the map?
This is a bigger issue than just a stupid pop-up box and goes beyond that into the fundamentals of a team game and the toxic behaviors that are accepted in this community.
I don't want to carry these people into elo they're not supposed to be in, where they will feed thier next game just as hard, and grief thier junglers and other laners, but I'm not going to let them drag me down with them either.
Regardless, while this is an important issue and massive fallacy in this ranking system that needs to be acknowledged; that's not what this threads about.
I'm posting this again because I would like an option in the settings to prevent the surrender box from popping up, so I can't accidentally say yes and lose the game due to trolls, or be distracted from trying to win that game at any point.
The majority of my games end up being 1v9 regardless, and you can check my OP.GG to confirm this if you don't believe it. I have games where I go 33/6 and have a yasuo go 3/10, and spam /ff for the entirety of the game.
so if my team just surrenders on me, oh well, but I don't ever want to see that box, and I don't ever want to mistakenly click yes. It's the most annoying thing ever.
Declining a surrender box DOES NOTHING but distract from the game, and if you're someone like me that constantly attempts to hard carry these games, to get the box off your screen, your only option is to acknowledge it which is a stupid concept.
It's nothing more than a griefing lose-more feature for your losing team mates.
