not exactly a fair thing to say, the poppy shen reworks along with graves were basically full new champions, and they were picked a lot.

Jhin's great. Super strong and fun, but feels fair to face.

Gangplank is another champion in that pool, for me.

Jhin is simply the best designed champion to date with clear counterplay, clear strengths, clear weaknesses and touches that thematic side really well that captures him as a character. Jhin is strong because of the utility. He might be slightly overtuned but with the changes for armour pen to lethality it'll be a little difficult to continue using that build and he may lose a bit of power because of that.

I'm fairly certain that Graves has done just as much as Jhin has, if not more due to coming out earlier. Same with Caitlyn, for that matter.

Maybe if everyone stopped playing fucking Zed, Vayne, Ekko and Yasuo every game in every position because they are "fun", there would be space for other champions.

Bard and Poppy are both decent along with Ryze and definitely AurelionSol , especially in the competitive scene.
