Had a great idea for that. Last rune.
It should be a 7th item slot. Like maybe make it so you can only have items under 1000 gold or only consumables. But it would be pretty cool for that last rune!

I'd like to see the spot get filled with a 'Forgivness' rune. Something along the lines of you don't trigger aggro from towers or minions until your second attack with something like a minute or so cooldown.
They already have a rune planned. It's a better version of bandit that works like spellblade.
By late game you can get consumables like elixirs and supposedly oracles.
