Fury: For x seconds gain extra life steal on attacks. (Spell for ADC)

Hextech Net: throw a projectile rooting enemies hit. (This would be good for supports to engage, or junglers without good engage)

Return: Once presses move x units in the direction of your nexus. (Good for assassins or to escape ganks)

Fortify: Become rooted but take X% less damage. (Good for tanks)

Blessing: Slowly regain your health and mana. (Like heal but maybe stronger but slower)

Expel: Push all enemies away from you. (Think Janna R)

Disable: Ohmwreker type ability. (Probably wouldn’t become a thing because Pro Players would abuse)

Scream: Fears enemies in front of you

Vanish: become invisible for X seconds

Bond: Choose an ally. For X seconds all damage on you is redirected on them. (Another one that would be broken, but also cool)

Purify: Removes all soft CC in a large area for X seconds. (Weaker Cleanse for multiple people)

Rebound: for X seconds reflect some damage taken back on attacker. (Again, another one that would probably be too strong)

Clarity: all enemy wards on map become revealed for X seconds

Jump: Walk through walls and units for X seconds. (Was gonna call it Ghost but.... yah)

Disguise: when pressed, you may Choose an Ally. You look like them for x seconds. (Think Neeko. Also one that probably wouldn’t happen as it takes away from Neeko)

Portal: Click to set a portal within X units click again to set the other end. Both teams may use it while it lasts.

Energize: Buffs your turret for X seconds. (Good for protection against turret dives)

Feast: Heal X damage when by dead champions. (More healing per champion. Morbid but cool)

Permafrost: Freeze the ground around you. Slowing enemies inside.

Hextech Contraption: Build a wall that lasts X seconds (Like Anivia. Good for Junglers to seal off escape)

Kamikaze: Instantly Kill yourself and deal X damage. (Funny if this one would make it in. Yasou mains would love it)

Taunt: All TARGETTED attacks and abilities are directed onto you. (Good for tanks to soak up ADC damage)

I am not a game designer, so some of these may be stronger than they should. The point of this is just to get some fun ideas around for some new spells.

Sure, give trolls the Bond spell, so not only do they soft int all game, but also use Bond to force other people to also soft int with them against their will.

Don't get me wrong, I would like more summoner spells but some of these are just not good for the game. Some of these remove the weaknesses a champion should have to keep them fair.

Expel would make it very hard to kill a squishy without multiple dashes or gap closers.

Return would remove the weakness of no mobility champions making it op in the early and would be useless in the late game.

Blessing would be similar to Return, op early game but useless late game

Hextech Net would make a CC heavy champion pack even more CC, there wouldn't be much reason for a peel support to get it when Exhaust exists and junglers already have chilling smite.

Portal could easily be abused by putting one at a turret and another at an objective like Baron that the enemy couldn't use because one of the portals would be in your base or turret.

Bond could be used for trolling.

Jump removes weakness on no mobility champions.

Vanish would be impossible to balance because imagine if Annie had this, there would be no counterplay to her R. Lux used to have her W turn allies invisible when the game was brand new but the developers got rid of it because they said it was way too op.

Disguise would make teamfights unnecessary confusion, really hurts learning the game for new players.

Taunt would stop assassins from ever diving a kill and would always force at least one player to pick a tank just to use Taunt effectively.

Scream would be used the same as taunts to stop assassins.

Kamikaze would be super funny in games and could be used to make yourself a scarier front line that could suddenly blow up, or you hide in bush and use Kamikaze when someone approaches, enemy team getting baron and you jump into the pit with the bomb plant and activate Kamikaze. The important thing is there should be a warning or delay before the explosion happens to create counterplay.

Energize is pretty specific and might be too weak but I would like to at least see the option. Could be used to stop big minion waves from destroying turret or stopping enemy from getting a turret plate.

Fortify is a good risk vs reward and could be useful to stop tower dives.

Permafrost would be pretty useful once you get in the middle of the enemy team as a tank but the challenge would be getting there.

theres a lot of people giving ideas for these over the years including this good list. Riot have no intentions of adding anymore though.
