Can a Bronze Support have any fun, Riot?

As a (very) low elo Support,

  1. you can stand watching your awkard adc doing nothing, or creating problems like suicidal feedings; also you can save him just to watch him die a second later.
  2. you can just hope to have some high elo smurf adcs (do they exist?) and follow him the best you can, basically watching (and warding, wow).
  3. you can hope in the absolutely perfect matchmaking, putting you in the rolling team (there is always one), and just don't mind about your adc.

In any case, you won't have any effect on the game. That's how I feel.

I seriously suggest learning Brand. You can deal such consistent damage in lane that the enemy has no idea how to react. You can literally solo push the 2 other laners under tower while your adc is last hitting in the middle of the lane. If your team is proving to be incompetent, after you finish sightstone build full AP and laugh while you destroy their team.

Or... you can play the meta dmg supports like zyra, brand, malzahar, karma, nami, etc and watch as you deal more dmg w/ 5 cs than your adc can. In ANX vs G2, Likkrit dealt more than twice the dmg of adc as brand. If you're not doing anything impactful in lane, don't roam, don't take initiative and is expecting your adc to do a spectacular job or it's "o well another noob adc, nothing to do here", then i'd love to see you in lane (on the other side ofc). Even if you are a melee support like blitz or alistar, think of the plays you can make. As long as your adc knows how to auto, you can make great plays happen and turn games around. To me it just sounds like you don't realize the full potential of being support. "Support" isn't heal-bots or ward carriers.
