20 games, 2 wins. Surely bad player, surely absurd matchmaking.

League of Legends Match History

I thought Riot's matchmaking was unbalanced by purpose, in order to ensure a 50% win-loss ratio. In fact, that would have explained why you can't find a single balanced match (or about 1/30-1/20, say 5%; no way it's casual). Now I'm confused, tho.

I';m for sure a bad player, and still pretty new (about 8 months). But, then, I should play with players of my level, and so having fun in fair (noob beginner) matches.

Now, especially as a support, I can't believe is mainly my fault for every loss (maybe for a couple?).

So, my simple question is, what is this shame: http://imgur.com/a/QLrbb

Maybe just a couple of these games were balanced, but even my wins were unfair: http://matchhistory.euw.leagueoflegends.com/en/#match-details/EUW1/3294970251/229247658?tab=overview (17-50 lol) http://matchhistory.euw.leagueoflegends.com/en/#match-details/EUW1/3306355313/229247658?tab=overview

Surely I can improve, but I think it's time for Riot to fix something.

The system is not unfair, it's that you aren't playing well enough.

Alistar is a decent support, but lacks what you need.

Alistar lacks the ability to carry and make plays on his own. He can do 1 stun combo that needs follow up, then what? If you get no follow up you are done, there's nothing Alistar can do as a solo player.

What you want are the likes of Sona, Nami, Soraka, Lulu, Janna (she's freelo right now) or Brand, Veigar, Lux, Malzahar, Malzahar who are quite OP at bronze.

The reason for the first 5 is that they will just keep your team alive. Since it's bronze, you don't use your ultis to make engages as Sona or Nami, you use them as follow up after a team starts, and both Nami and Sona pack the damage to almost solo carry, while a decent Janna is like "were you trying to kill my team or something?"

As for the last 5, they do the exact opposite, they don't keep your team alive, they keep the enemy team respawning. You are just so aggressive and having so much damage that the enemy team can't deal with you if you position right, meaning, at the back of your team, and since your CC is so insane as well, with slows, stuns, roots, the enemy team can't really focus you either. All you need is to play it correctly.

That's what you need on supports.

Not supports who need a duo partner to funtion, but supports who can force the team to be the duo even if they don't want to (Janna, Nami, Sona, Soraka) because you just don't let them die if you play it decently, or you just deal so much damage that the enemy team can't respons (Brand, Veigar, Malzahar, Lux, Morgana).

The fault is on you for not having the right thing for the right situation. And by situation I don't mean match-ups, but division. Alistar is a good support, same for Tresh or Braum or Leona, but they just need others to function, which you don't have in bronze. Everyone wants to be the one to carry, so instead, you either make sure they do it with the first set of 5 defensive supports and just make sure your team ain't dying, afterall, all they know is to deal damage, so the one who wins is the one who deals damage in a longer period of time, so if you make sure that your team is the one surviving more than the enemy team, you basically win more, while the other set of offensive supports is just making sure that the enemy team is having less time to deal damage because you deal way more damage.

That is the way of league .. you have to show what was happening early. Once the ADC or TOP or anyone snowballs it always looks bad. You have been very unlucky that no one carried you. How did you start , where did it go wrong.. so many things. People love to say how bad someone did but 15 min in they were 4-0 then ... 10-0 comes down smashes face you end up going 6-8-3 .. oh you are terrible. yes yes I am .. still trying to work out that mid game feed. Put me with a Damage dealer a good one... we kill it.... our 2 games show it.. someone carried.. your adc . Good job man.. now those other games what happen .... There are sites out there that show you the elo and compare.. they are good enough to see why your were matched together .. that does not stop a smurf from smashing your face. but hey it is LOL.. HARD TRUTH - learn to carry.. FYI I cant so i suffer from your syndrome... but ill get there.. my 12 year old son is teaching / schooling me....

yes I hear it in his evil smile .. take out the trash huh dad.. trash this nooob... GOD LIKE...

Such a shame to hear about Alistar, a old main of mine, who I still love, especially for his moo cow skin, but been having a rough time playing with him in rank, and after reading the boards it makes more sense, guess Alistar is best saved with friends on normal ^.^; Been having a lot of fun with Soraka though, guess I'll start using and perfecting her more for rank, really trying to climb :/

Hey guys... 'you should look at your own mistakes' is meant for self reflection and improvement-- let's keep it that way, peace.

Your builds look normal for low elo- sightstone good - some reactionary builds (I assume due to enemy snowballs) I don't like Tahm but he doesn't have a 10% winrate.

I had a similar experience last week. Usually losing streaks last a couple days, but mine went on 5 (I had more dc'd teammates than I have had in months in one day.) so I played more and more ARAM and switched to ARURF which are dictated by RNG more than MMR. My normal MMR appears to have stabalised now. I don't know how or why it happens, but go play some ARAM and check back for wins later.

For one, I've having trouble pulling up your game history. I'm guessing most of these are Normal games? Op.gg and Lolking are only pulling up some 5 or so ranked games this season.

Anywho.... If it is norms:

Norms are full of all ranks put together. If you search your teammates, many are probably Platinum/Gold, and even some Diamonds.

You do very well tbh kda wise at least. You're cautious, albiet maybe too much.

Sona has a pretty high tendency to lose when games get rushed though, because so much of her power is late game. You're often screwed by poor teams because if you get close enough to spam, you're often going to die, and if you stay too far you don't contribute enough.

Tahm is generally one of those bot supports laners know how to play around; He originally started there. If you encounter someone bot who knows how to fight you they will chisel you down forever. That's why he's more or less top now; 1v1 he's monstrous.

What I'm saying is..... branch out.

If they are ranked games; Your account reads out as Bronze II.

There are hired boosters in low elos as well as toxic banned players remaking who will outclass low elos who generally get placed in silvers on their first placements. You will often encounter them and they will make your games horrible unless you can lead a team to group and play correctly and calmly vs them.

I will say this: from a snapshot, your skill level is not Bronze II. It's at least Silver I. But, it won't carry you out of the elo hell. Again, branch out and use champs that can actually beat the 50% odds when teams are horrible.

I generally use these on low elo accounts:

Support: Karma Nami Morgana Zyra Mid: Ahri Lux Morgana Jungle: Evelynn Leona Ornn Sion Udyr Top: Ornn Karma Ornn Karma

There are FAR stronger picks than some of these for bailing teams, but I generally know a few tricks on these.

If you can learn the following champs, you can hyper carry yourself out:

Ahri Akali Camille JarvanIV Kaisa Katarina MasterYi Pantheon Shaco TwistedFate Warwick Zed . You can drastically improve your chances to carry out of Bronze. If you can master 1-2, just stick with them. Most of that Elo can't handle these champs when played right though.

One thing I would say: Don't cookie cutter your builds. They look like you build the same thing no matter the team. Get reactionary.

(Just clobbered a Malphite who went Armor with my Ornn ; His team was literally 4 AP and a Varus ...... I just Raid bossed the crap out of them with item 3096item 3001 item 3194 item 3065 item 3512 item 3111 (was gonna add a item 3151 or item 3156 for good measure)..... just stupid funny to 1v4 or 1v5 a team because they just can't damage you at all, yet you can take all their ults, W 3 of them, Q a 4th, E smash 2 of them, and R when they try to struggle.

Alistar might be the worst champion in the game. I'd stop playing him in ranked if I were you.

LUL at you trying to blame ur losses on matchmaking. For every match you lose, someone won that match...unless you're saying riot targeted you to lose? LOL

Glad that more expert players noticed the same thing:

League is a joke now, Riot has designed the game to be appealing to the people that watch pro players and not your average gamer just trying to have fun. Over the past couple seasons it's turned into a game where you either stomp or get stomped. Game that are an even fight tend to be extremely rare and it's near impossible to come back once you start losing. It only takes one player to get fed or feed and the game is over already cause it snowballs from there. The community is a toxic wasteland, it's been bad before but the changes have only made it worse, because when just one teammate doing badly or intentionally trolling can cost you the game, of course there are going to be assholes!

The game is only fun when your winning and it's barely even fun then. The small amount of satisfaction you get is not enough to make up for the frustration. Also, the game is poison to friendships. You will find yourself being at the throat of someone who you usually get along famously with because League brings out the worst in people. THIS GAME HAS BECOME BAD FOR YOU. I don't honestly know why people still play it anymore until Riot changes it back to a much more fair, balanced state. I think it's because too many gamers are suckers for punishment and it's also a case of sunk cost fallacy even though you never have to spend a cent to play, it's easy to get get sucked into using real money to get a cool skin or a new champ because grinding out the in-game points takes forever. I'm glad I quit and I encourage others to do so as well.
