Taking a look at Gangplank's kit, he could be considered one of the worst champions in the game.

I don't know if it's just me, but every gangplank I play with seems to have a Hidden-Yasuo-Passive.

He crits WAY more than normal.

GP Usually rushes a Sheen and Statikk Shiv, which gives 20% crit and his Q applies sheen.

Whenever he gets ganked, he just Crits a Q and 3 Autoattacks in a row then runs away.

He has his 20% crit from Shiv, but he crits 80% of the time anyway.

His Crits also seem to do a LOT more than any adc for some reason. If you think about it, you could just put like Caitlyn top and rush shiv and it would basically just be a better gangplank (IN LANE) But it doesn't work that way for some reason.

Gangplank's Q Does about half your health mid game, a LOT more than a Crit AA Boosted by passive from caitlyn, or any other melee carry (Yi, Fiora, Trynd, Yasuo)

Are Gangplank players just extremely lucky, or does his Q have some Super insane Crit-Ratio, or does this only occur to me?

A Q hits for 120 base damage + (base + bonus, let's say 150) AD + 100 magic damage from Statikk + 100~ damage from Sheen (or 160~ from Trinity, which I build before Statikk).

This makes a level 8-9 Q dealing: 470 mixed damage when not critting and 820 when critting.

Late game (if you have Statikk / IE / Trinity / Last Whisper) it should deal: 120 + 330 + 100 + 200 = 750 dmg when not critting and 1575 dmg when critting.

Obviously resistances shut down most of this damage. Anyhow I don't find his crits to be more frequent than they should. I think, instead, that even at 55 % his crit-chance is too low and I often find myself not critting in dire cirucumstances.

Only occur to you, 20% is 20%, might be the damage of sheen that you feel.

Build Tabi + random early armor => GP is screwed.

GP has no real source of damage apart from autoattacks, as his Q is an autoattack itself. Passive dmg just sucks after a few levels and R dmg sucks way more if you can't land 3 passive stacks at first, so Ninja Tabi pretty fucks all his damage sources.
