Suggestion: Casting Q on Worked ground reduces the duration of select worked ground by 1/2/3/4/5 seconds.

Taliyah is very much a roaming champion naturally, however when played midlane it's not uncommon to see the use of worked ground Q's in lane as poke.

I personally think having her Q reduce the CD of her Worked ground by a few seconds each cast would be beneficial. This incentives more lane interaction with her laner as well as not buffing JG. As many would know, JG Taliyah rarely reuse the same WG patch.

Hmm, that's an interesting suggestion actually. I could see there potentially being some oddity for your opponent who now needs to keep track of whether or not you reduced the cd of some worked ground or not (but tbh I don't think many people track this well anyway). I do wonder if maybe just shrinking the radius of her worked ground slightly would also do the trick to give you more possible angles to shoot from, without needing to worry about variable cds. She rarely uses the same patch in the jungle as you said, so it also wouldn't really buff her jungle.

I like this suggestion. i find it kinda stupid that a champion made for mid lane, is basically never played in the mid lane anymore, and that Riot is completely fine with it. I dont mind Taliyah jg, but if she is only viable in the jg thats when it becomes stupid imo.

How about just giving her a passive that is relevant for a lane mage? Let's be honest here; if she isn't jungle, the utility of her passive is pretty much equivalent to the passive of pre-rework Ashe

they don't have room to straight buff taliyah atm, this change to help her mid must come at the cost of nerfing her jungle
