How do you kill an ADC who hides behind frontline or is always protected?
it's hard to find a way to do that without their team protecting him

Draft a comp with divers, long range poke, healing, and/or a lot of hard CC.
If you cant do that, try split pushing, flanking, look for picks, pressure multiple objectives, etc. It takes a team to beat a team.
You pray to one shot it so this little shit doesn't drain-tank to full hp in a matter of macrosecond.

No. Really. Flank them and kill them. ADCs that can properly hide behind a frontline like that are generally very, very squishy. So walk around their frontline.
Or snipe them from afar, as Lux or Xerath, or someone similar.
Dealing with ones that have constant shielding are a different matter. However, the same concept applies. Don't fight through the problem, fight around it.
Janna uses her E on the ADC. The best course of action would be to shift and nuke Janna. Gold and below, the ADC will be too preoccupied with running away to save her.
Force their front line to deal with your front line, giving assassins and other types of champions space to hop in and assassinate the target.
If they're useless and have a score like 1-5, I wouldn't waste my time, flash, or ult trying to dive them when there's a 9-2 Kha'Zix. But if they're some what fed and is becoming a problem, just walk around and flank them.
Sounds like they have a team fight comp. Beat them by outrotating with a splitpush comp. Hard to get a good comp with synergy in soloqueue though...
Isn't that a job for divers like Camille & Khazix?
