Rank this season doesn't seem that different from last.

In the end it's still about who gets the better bot lane. Jungle is going to get nerfed to oblivion, mid is a second support, and top has 0 influence. You can have a top feed, mid feed, and bad jungle and still win the game with a good bot pair, but you can't win if top is fed, mid is fed, and jungle is fed but your adc is useless. Rolling an ADC is like flipping a coin, you either get a really good one that orb walk, kite, farm, rotate or get a really bad one that manages to miss their auto attack. Their is no such thing as a middle ground for adc players. It would be nice if other lanes didn't have to revolve around ADC and instead be more team focused.
