Question: I am a new player and what the heck is MSI and its trials pass

-Do you join a group and compete with other groups or something? -How many tokens do you get per match? How do you earn tokens? -Is it worth it? -Is this just a some sort of Battle pass or once you enter you must represent your group and failure to do so will get you kicked off

It lets you earn event tokens for playing games. That's about it. I did it the last couple times, but there's nothing I'm really interested in this time. Whether it's worth it or not depends on if there's actually a reward you really want. You don't compete or anything. You just play games as normal. Wins will give you more tokens than losses, but you can earn as many tokens as you can play games while the event is ongoing.

If I recall correctly there is going to be the acadamia rewards in the pass as well, Do not take my word for it, it just that right before you view the pass rewards it shows the Prestige lux and a graves chroma

Update: http://www.surrenderat20.net/2019/05/51-pbe-update-loot-assets-idahotb-asset.html, shows assets and stuff with rewards

Hard to say. The prestige lux might be in reference to the fact that you can get enough prestige tokens for a prestige skin if you get enough tokens. As for the chromas, maybe because there's the "formal chroma + icon" but hard to tell if the formal chromas will be a reward for MSI, their own event, or a bonus for purchasing a bundle. We likely won't know for certain until they come out about halfway through the MSI event. It would be a good idea to save your tokens if you buy the pass just incase though. (Plus if they do it like they did before then you'll still stockpile points and can gain access to them by buying the pass later if you decide there's something you want afterall.)
