ARAM - Isn't Random

RIOT, can you please just finally get honest and admit that ARAM is NOT Random? Proof? Easily done... Ryze 19 games in a row... for ME. I own 48 champions on this account, and I get Ryze 19 games in a row to either reroll or trade. There is no possible way this is Random, because that is statistically impossible.

It's fine if it isn't actually Random, however you might as well change the game mode name:

There is no Mid in this, All Random All Mid doesn't make sense any more.
It isn't random. Enough people have noticed this to a severe degree that any argument to the contrary is fallacious.

Hello fellow ARAM player. I also noticed for a while that ARAM isn't random, but recently I've noticed something even worse, is that one team (or sometimes both) are made around a similar "comp". Mostly 2 ADCs, one mage poke and 2 tanks / 1 tank and a support / another support. Not sure if something was changed, but it seems like it only happened like 2 patches ago. It's really frustrating to deal with it, especially when the enemy team has 2 adcs while you don't have any, meaning first ace for you = 50% of the hp tower while first ace for them is first tower + 20% of second tower.

yeah I googled "aram isnt random" after getting either poppy or sion at least 50% of the ARAM games i get into. Its so lame. I probably have only gotten champs I actually like to play maybe 3 times this season. I have gotten zed 1 time in probably 100 aram games and have gotten poppy probably 35 times. It just genuinely doesnt make sense to me why they wouldnt make it random. aram isnt suppose to be taken that seriously so why do they feel the need to fuck with it.

Another thing... why was it EVER named ARAM? This one is just academic curiosity... I mean, before the mode existed we'd just scream it in chat and hope everyone went with it. Then again, there used to only be one mode.

I've always kind of felt the same way. I play a lot of ARAM games, and I've noticed that not only do I seem to play the same champs over and over, (which is almost never the champs I main, but that's a different story) my team and the enemy team always seem to be made up of the same champs. Like.. sometimes I'll play 6 games in a row and see Illaoi in 5-6 of them, stuff like that. It just seems like an odd coincidence.

It's not random, it's somehow related to their matchmaking system, which is flawed by its own (% win ratio...) So what comes out isn't really good :D

After all these years I got sick of aram finally... The afks, the stupid so called random characters that appear in every game for a week or so, the character that you own and love and never got rolled out... I'm fed up.
