Just experienced a Bruiser Zed build

with Was kinda intrigued when he came to lane with a instead of , looks like Zed's are evolving on Latin America North to deal with people focusing them Can we not do this...he still ripped our adc apart and we could not kill him as he got back out and just became a ridiculous split pusher who we could not burst out

Or wait no, can we balance him around this? Because honestly it makes him closer to an anti-carry rather than anti-everyone. Which we need people able to kill ADC's with how absurd they are atm

I saw this coming, this build is just perfect, I would have just included a item 3078 somewhere. Just let me guess, his Hydra actives where dealing 700-900K. Im from LAN too anyways, and I get you xD I actually do not think ADC's are ridiculous now, I think Lux is ridiculous now, she is super safe, at least ADC's have to come close to kill you.

I was playing Morgana top so he wasnt really trying to kill me (yay for being able to get tanky on her) but my adc jinx just was deleted as if Zed was building normal. And when I landed a bind on him he didnt pop like the normal build </3

and about adc's being ridiculous...mostly is aimed at Kalista, Corki, and Kog'Maw who I feel are just absurd in most cases (all for different reasons)

I enjoy Lux because she is safe, making it possible to instantly pop E when it hits makes her trading a little too reliable though I feel (rather than having to reactivate it when it reaches its location).

I like the idea of Zed being built as an anti-carry and not straight damage to accomplish it (kinda like Irelia) as long as he isn't murdering everyone else at the same time.

It is funny how I was talking about lux needing a nerf, Zed is her best "counter" and still she is actually capable of wrecking him. Lux is OP atm actually.

Talon is way better into Lux than Zed is I feel, he just jumps on her when she tries to E or snare and he wins the trade HARD every time. and just instantly deletes her later on (way faster than Zed). Velkoz is her #1 counter though, statistically

I don't feel Lux is Overpowered, I feel she is rather safe and that is a huge advantage atm.

Actually statistically her best counter is Zed, Lux has 51% win rate against VelKoz

She isn't actually OP, as you can see from the fact that she's not pick/ban in competitive. Lux is a very good pick but OP is a bit of an overstatement. She just has a very safe all-around strong kit with no glaring weaknesses. Even if you're behind, the shield and CC will be useful. She's the opposite of a feast/famine champion and that combined with the fact that she's not the hardest champion makes her reliable.

Picks with high reliability and not overly complex kits tend to perform quite well at all ELOs but the difference is highest when you don't have the most skilled players. Something like Zed has possibly low reliability for players who aren't extremely good with him due to the mechanical complexity of his kit but for a really skilled player, he may be just as reliable. This doesn't come across clearly in winrates but the objective strength of a champion should assume they are played optimally.

This is good for low ELO most of all but it is contrary to Zed's kit. He has so much mobility that he should not need to become a bruiser. The advantage of his kit is exactly that you CAN get away with a heavier damage build. I think this is really good if ahead though.

I think he went this way cause we had a lot of targeted pick (My team had Morgana Orianna Jinx Nautilus )

A squishier zed probably dies as soon as he goes in (which we tried multiple times and he soaked quite a bit of damage)

I liked the build variation though tbh, we lost but I felt like the enemy team handled the game really well and deserved the win. It felt entirely fair, which is rare tbh outside of stomps.

Meh, I'd see more sthg like

item 3047 item 3142 item 3153 item 3071 item 3156 item 3742

30 flat arpen for great squishy bursting and botrk + black cleaver for dealing with tanks, deadman's malmortius for a bunch of HP, armor and magic resist. Might be less tanky than the build you quoted, but so much more damage.
