i absolutely know this taric "rework" is going to be a massive nerf to my lategame god scaling support

dont care how the hell riot puts it. its going to be a huge nerf to my lategame god 55% winrate lord of gems

not only that but likely a huge change to his playstyle basically deleting the champion

i LOVE tarics playstyle. not every champion needs LCS bigplays skillshots

look at annie. how easy is that kit? how many skillshots are there?

look at yi? how many skillshots?

xin? how many skillshots?

taric is just as mechanically complex as xin, yi, annie, shyvana

knowing WHERE you have to be on the map to apply your power and when to use your cooldowns is a big part of maxing the power of your champion. its not all about lcsbigplay skillshots

i am terrified of the rework coming for taric

Poppy turned out great, Quinn's good, Shen's is good. Just chill a bit, I was terrified for the Quinn rework but now it seems fine. Give it time.

Both were reworked and not made superly complex, heck even Shen & Poppy remained relatively simply after her rework, there is no guarantee that the rework will make them ultra complex.

And honestly, her Q is basically the same but better. Yeah, no more magic damage crits, but it got it's pre-nerf percent damage back (at rank 1 no less) and it's AoE with a slow.

Taric isn't going to have skill shots. This is confirmed by Repertoire, who is the one reworking Taric.

more related, i do love taric's full build feel. It almost feels arcadey resetting your cool downs with your passive and i love it

My dream is that they manage to retain his damage some way. My best guess would be that they'd give him health % scaling attacks, like with Poppy and Shen. Alas, I won't be able to max E first and do 320 flat damage on squishies at point blank with a single stun anymore :P

I just don't like the fact they turned his damage down A WHOLE LOT. He used to be like a super powerful semi mage, but now he is some sort of bruiser support. Taric rework = New champion with old name.

Is this referencing that two week period in S3 where he had mana scalings and was absurdly OP? Outside of that, he never had high damage to begin with.

The only confirmed changes are "his passive will be very similar to live" and "no skillshots". Also, less fabulous generally, but Armor of the Fifth Age will be at least as fabulous and will be treated like a Popstar skin.

I'm mostly worried that they're going to turn him into Tahm Kench 2.0, not necessarily as far as the effects of his abilities go, but inasmuch as how complex he is. Taric is simple, and that's why I like him.
