Why is not banning a champion even an option in ranked?
Seriously, there is absolutely zero reason why people should get the choice to not ban anybody in a ranked game.

Because some people are extremely confident with their skill on a champion that they are sure no matter what is thrown at them they can overcome it through superior skill.
But I am not that person.
Every now and then theres a meta where the 'meta bans' aren't that scary to you (perhaps you main a counter pick or something [and so you may even want the enemy to pick that champ]) so theres no 'obvious' bans, and then you don't want to risk banning a teammates champ (even if everyone hovers, you might accidentally ban their back up) and so are most comfortable banning nothing.
There is no logic in not banning a character especially when some are head and shoulders above the rest.
