Why does Riot increase so much AD base stat but not AP

AP champion are getting :

  • base hp
  • scaling hp

AD are getting :

  • base hp
  • scaling hp
  • base ad
  • base armor

How is this fair? I don't want a ad meta mid. Zed Talon were already strong, especially when entire letality item got buffed.

Cause they are AD lovers and biased towards them. They always screw AP over everytime.

They did it because without their AD runes, AD champs lose a lot of their AD. But if they buff the AD, the AD versus AD lane needs to have more armor to compensate. Also, they're only changing BASE AD, meaning the literal first stat they start with, not the AD scaling. Unless you're winning within the first five minutes of the game, 5 AD won't mean ALL that much in the long run.

Yeah so, what about ad vs ap? Rune already give adaptive ad and ap to compasante offensive rune. Why do they need 9 more AD at levle 1. Also armor does affect matchup vs mage ap, because they aa a lot champion like Zed and Talon in early game and that's a good part of their damage. Later aa as a mage is not a big deal. Don't talk about late game when those champion are supposed to be bullied in the early game especially talon.

Looking at the runes, you get 25 AP and AD laners only get 15 AD for their stats. You only get one or the other, not both.

Ad are more valuable than ap. It's not 1 ad = 1 ap it's alway been the case since season 1. Ad apply to basic and ability/keystone have higher ad scaling. The ratio 15 AD = 25 AP is even.

If AD has always had more prominence over AP then you're asking about a problem that's already existed, not a new one.

Ad is prominent over AP since season 7. I'm saying AD scaling work differently than AP thats why 1 AD =/= 1 AP this is common knowledge are you bronze 5?

Actually, yes. [slayer-jinx-catface]

Most AP champs are probably going Domination or Sorcery so they'll get AP that way.

What your point? AD still get stat from rune too.

There's 2 things in AP champs favor. The first is that they didn't get a whole lot from runes before. The second and most important thing is that everyone is losing MR because no MR blues anymore. That'll increase your damage throughout the game by at least 8%.

Mages don't need the extra AP now.

But we have no good magic penetration rune. Only one there is is good for AP assassins, not mages.

AD are loosing mr, but AP are loosing armor too. Also, in season 7 people were going hp scaling it was more efficient than flat MR.
