He's been overshadowed by , yes; however Darius' presence has been overwhelming since the juggernaut updates, whereas is up shit creek without a paddle; is kinda meh, as he's only good as a counterpick in my opinion; I don't play enough to make a fair judgement.

What is this counterplay? Most people say to kite him, but unless you're playing or , you're not going to be able to. All he'd have to do is stack armor anyway, and build a to just walk on you, and any damage dealt via kiting would be rendered useless as he'd just heal himself back to full life.

Prior to the rework, Darius used to be weak in teamfights, and was simply treated as a lane bully. Now, Darius is a lane bully, DPS, Tank, with instant mass-health regeneration as a reward for landing an AOE skill.

Are we allowed to have one champion that isn't completely oppressive that CertainlyT designs?

The update made him even worst to deal with. Builds nothing but tank but does really stupid damage that you cant counter because of his built in damage penetration..

This is why I call him.. Diarrhea. lol Very cheese champ. The heal is what really angers me about him really. As I said before... Tanks or juggernauts have no business having self sustain being hard at it is to kill them.

darius isn't the trouble, THE FACT that they gave him the FREE-EST regen in the game, and after a single item 3044 he can't miss. The idea of kiting by sticking inside the radius is crap because he just has to go the other way and hit you with the edge... He is the one champ I can't stand, he has no weak point. His passive is super powerful early, his mid-late is all but amazing. And if he builds entire tank, he just needs to apply 5 stacks and execute with a true damage ult... because a tank doing 1k damage is great... I just wish he had real counterplay to his Q.

The entire juggernaut patch was ass.. I don't recall the last time I saw a damn skarner </3 I <3 skarner. Garen and darius are just black cleaver tanks, and garen punishes you for doing well with his stupid 1k true dmg if you're the villian ultimate.

He isn't in a great spot right now. He's very easily kiteable, gets destroyed when cc'd, and has no way of closing the gap when his e is down. Sure, he's good if you can't kite, or if you have no cc, but it's healthy for him to be really good against a bad comp. If anything, he needs a little help.

In lower elo's yes darius is hard to deal with cause you didnt bother to learn how to play against him. But in higher elo's darius is garbage and rendered useless if the opponent has brain cells and saves their abilities to counter his Q

Darius relays on your mistakes to do good and the champions he used to counter, now they counter him...

Irelia and Jax comes to mind and they shits on him in lane and they have ways to avoid darius's Q and they will shit on him harder next patch but of course complaining about a champion who's not really a problem is the easier work than learning how to play against him and thats why your staying in silver for this season.

and they took out a lot of his oppressiveness and add a counter-play to his Q also making him even more immobile by removing his MS buff from his passive, so darius has to do damage and sustain to stay viable and Riot already said that what juggernauts identity is to do damage/sustain while being immobile.

So why couldn't you just play safe during the lane phase and roam or wait for jungle ganks? It's not hard at all to gank a darius as long as you don't be dumb and let him stack you to 3 or 4 while the jungler is coming.

Not to mention if you really want to just man handle darius, olaf can 1v1 him and trundle/Patheon just fully destroys darius.

Darius is also under a 50% win rate with his play rate under 10% and in a good spot, asking for nerf for no reason at all.
