Isn't that just him failing is promos? Probably on purpose? Playing at higher Elos isn't fun for some people, I have 2 accounts, a high gold and a low silver. I never play on my gold account anymore because you have tryhard. Low elo accounts you can just stomp doing whatever you want.

It makes sense if he really didn't play that much from Oct to Dec; that really flat line makes me think he barely tried playing, and obviously his skill level went down to the point of dropping into silver.

But yeah, that may also say he was boosted on top of it.

Rank decay, possible natural slip in ranking combined with season change requiring placements where he didn't do well, etc.

Pretty sure I had this dude in my ranked game. It was really annoying. He went 4/10 with Riven. I said, "how much did you pay for your account douche"...he said "league is a team game. Can't carry". Yeah, you lost lane in every aspect being a "diamond" player in a silver match. Believable.
