I don't get MMR and LP

So I won 6 games in a row. 4 were ranked and I carried all 4 of those games (15/4ish kdas) Yet a single loss cost me 24 LP when I was only gaining like 13 at a time, and put me back down to 17 LP. What am I doing wrong? How am I supposed to get out of Bronze in this environment? HELP!

Let me try to explain, when you have a negative win rate on all champions you play in ranked your MMR is lower than your actual rank, meaning you gain less LP when you win and you lose more LP when you lose.

Click: Solo MMR

What this is doing is it's trying to put your skill where you belong so your win rate can be positive when you win more games at the rank of your MMR. Just like how my MMR is higher than my actual rank, I gain more LP when I win, and I lose less LP when I lose.

Edit: I was also placed in Silver 1 last season and my MMR was at Bronze 1 and I was demoted all the way down to Silver 5 until my MMR matched up with my current rank.

Sounds like a REALLY SHITTY win rate to me.

It is really bad... I duo sometimes as well. I'm not saying I am awesome or anything, in fact I have really just started to feel like I have found my stride over the last few weeks. But man, there is no denying that I get trolls or afks in a large number of my losses. there has to be a better way to separate the people who are serious from those who are toxic or unreliable to even finish a game.

And People should be rewarded more readily in the LP system for playing well on an INDIVIDUAL level. SOO FRUSTRATING!

According to OP.gg In my last 20 ranked I won 12 and lost 6. 2.8:1 KDA. That doesn't seem like a bad WR to me..

I do understand that, but I recently got promoted out of B5 finally, and prior to that promotion It was the opposite. So how long does it take, how many wins in the division before it changes? I mean I have a high win rate since the promotion, so I still don't get it. Seriously, since the promotion I probably have better than an 80% WR.

Seriously, is there a detailed account of EXACTLY how mmr is calculated? Like, not what it does, but exactly how the number is calculated? EXACTLY how many games, wins, losses, when it is updated, etc?

That sounds really bad lol umm... find a DUO in bronze and just grind it together

Are ALL games used in the calculation? Only Ranked? Flex AND Solo lumped together? I really need to know this stuff.
