Hey Riot, let's talk about Leona
I've been sent the e-mail regarding Leona's lore update and I've been reading it today, some things in her lore are really hyping and I'd like to make some questions about her.
During the duel with Atreus, a line says:
her warrior skills were formidable
After being chosen by the Solari:
Leona trained every day with the warrior order of the Solari, the Ra-Horak - a Rakkor title which means Followers of the Horizon - honing her already fearsome skills with a blade into something sublime.
And after climbing the Mount Targon:
A column of searing illumination stabbed down from the heavens and engulfed Leona. She felt an awesome presence filling her limbs with terrifying power and forgotten knowledge from the earliest epochs of the world. Her armor and weapons burned to ash in the cosmic fire and were in turn reborn as ornate warplate, a shield of sunlight wrought in gold and a sword of chained dawnlight.
The warrior who came down the mountain looked the same as the one who had climbed it, but inside Leona was much changed. She still had her memories and thoughts, was still master of her own flesh, but a sliver of something vast and inhuman had chosen her to be its mortal vessel. It gifted her with incredible powers and awful knowledge that haunted her eyes and weighed heavily upon her soul
There's no doubt Leona is a Legendary warrior with uppercase 'L'. Do we have any chances of seeing her kit adjusted to also fit a fighter/bruiser role in the toplane maybe? Poppy is a good example of a fighter/tank that's well suited to support, I'd LOVE to see Leona outside of botlane. The way she is right now, you could substitute her sword with an umbrella and it won't change anything (I'm not talking about pool party, but that Leona's sword isn't actually ever used to deal damage)
I don't ask for major kit changes (unless they're super cool). Probably even just an autoattack reset on her W (like Nautilus) would work, so that she'd have 2 together with her Q. Maybe some ad rations on her Q.
