Many mages can just 1 combo kill someone while many assassins have to poke or wait for a target to get under like 70% then go in. They usually having longer times to kill as well. Does anybody else feel this way?
GreenKnight1 votesWell, i always thought that mages are like glass cannons. They hit hard, but they have no escapes, and their defenses are shit.
Assassins on the other hand, are highly mobile, able to chase and destroy isolated, weakened targets with precise strikes and get out of the harms way in a short period of time. They should deal a bit less damage than mages, because of their mobility.

See my issue is that mages can get zhonya's which negates a lot of the negative for being squishy and some not all do massive AoE damage so their damage is like up to 5 times that of an assassin.

-Enemy has Zed
-buy Zhonya
-he Ults and pokes me down to approximately 65 to 55% my Max HP
-get flashback of the many times I have been in the same scenario where his ult oneshots me
-Use Zhonya under Turret to survive Zed Ult
-Zed Dives And oneshots me with BASIC ABILITY combo anyway
-cry in the corner

Yeah, but Zhonya still has drawbacks. You can't move during it's effect, and it's cooldown is much higher than most ults in mid to late game.
