Kindred Q Targeting.

Maybe Im just dumb and cant figure it out, but how does kindreds Q pick what 3 targets its going to hit. I find quite often wile csing and stuff ill try and jump right on 3 minions and sometimes it picks ones closer to where i was before the hop or something. Please help.

Also Id like to advocate for a "prioritizes champions buff" but i spose thats unlikely for what ever reason.
