One game company will punish you for not wanting to put up with other peoples bull shit. One game company will drive your patience to the limit justifying a robot operated punishment system with bans that can never be overturned. One game company will offer you "feedback" as to what you did to get punished while not taking the context of the situation into any sort of consideration at all. (literally you cant even see the messages from other players in the feed back)

Riot games is THE TROLL.

That's right.

The league of legends community isn't toxic. Its an illusion created by the toxic environment riot has created.

I just got suspended for two weeks. If i log in I can view the chat logs of what i said that lead to my suspension.
First game i had a duo Q with me. My jungler and support. Lulu roamed top to my lane to help, so naturally when she got there i went all in. She followed me, having me believe we were going to do it. But she did not cast any ability. Didn't ult me. No exhaust. No shield. Nothing. I call her out and she goes "yeah i just wanted you to die" and her and her duo Q just start saying lol and calling me a noob over and over. And I'm the bad guy because i got mad about this?

The second game I got got put with a premade of 4. Between the four of them they had about 5 kills, and 30 deaths. So naturally once we start losing our inhibs i call a surrender vote. They all vote no. I ask the other team to report my teammates thinking it would be a plausible request seeing as how my teams premade had a club tag called SaltU and were clearly trolling. But of course these sadistic people all instead decide that even though everyone is in the same elo, they are winning because they are SO much better and that instead of reporting they just start calling me mad and noob. So lets stop here and analyze this environment riot has created for me.

In the third game the enemy is really playing league. Being serious, trying hard to win, malphite yasuo combo, ect... But then on my team I have a lux, who named his account after lux, and literally just keeps typing lux quotes in the chat. He just fed like 8 kills in 15 minutes. And lets be honest, if he wants to "get in the mood" and try and stay in character with his champion more power to him. But when he just keeps dying so much that sivir can kill in me in 3-4 autos and is 2 levels higher than me despite me having more cs and a solo lane... it literally ruins the game for me. And you cant really give me that "if you were that good you would just carry". They have malphite yasuo and a fed sivir. Team fights were a disaster, and split pushing was impossible as they just mowed down our towers and lanes and could easily send 2 top and still win 3v4 everywhere else.

  1. The tribunal is automated so I bet no on in that premade (who could not be making it more obvious they are trolling with they're behavior and club tag) even got investigated because my one report probably isn't enough to solicit any action.

  2. Im not allowed to stop playing because that is grounds for me to BOTH get reported AND get tagged by the leaver buster system.

  3. Because the system focuses primarily on chat, people are enabled to just do whatever they want to mess with the match and will get off scott free if they dont use chat or try and act victimized.

This system encourages bullying and punishes people for trying to stick up for themselves.

I've gotten leaver buster warnings from being afk in ONE game and only for the FIRST THREE MINUTES AFTER MINIONS SPAWN. Like if its not bad enough going to lane is near impossible because the laner will be so far ahead but i get punished for it too? Would it be that bad to let players pause the game for 3-5 minutes? Since its riot games? Yes.

There's also the whole argument about how we can't play URF or any of the other fun game modes in custom mode. Which honestly wouldn't bother me so much if 5's wasn't unplayable. There's no good matches. I never get to actually play a game. Its either my team gets steamrolled from beginning to end. Of course there can be close games sometimes, but having 1 close one out of every 20 is infuriating. Or my team steam rolls them. Neither scenario is fun or mentally stimulating in any way. And the only other option is aram which is snoozeville.

No vote to pause. No fun game mode options put into custom games Sadistic people run the show because they can just try and piss you off till you cave and then you get in trouble for getting mad at people who literally are ruining games just to make you mad.

This company doesn't care about its player base at all.

Could you show us your chat logs? There isn't really anything that can be said about your particular case without them.

One report has similar weight to nine reports in a single game, as it's based on games reported rather than reports per game.

False. Riot has numerous systems in place designed to detect and address intentional feeding/griefing/gameplay trolling, the problem is that it's more difficult to identify than negative chat. That being said, it's something that's being consistently worked on and improved by Riot and it's absolutely something Riot cares about.

Sticking up for yourself doesn't really apply when it comes to verbal abuse, especially in a scenario where there is no possible threat of physical violence and it's entirely possible to mute the aggressor. The high road, when someone is being a jerk, is to mute that person and report him/her after the game, not to retaliate with equal venom.

yeah learn the lesson, riot wants to eliminate solo que players and dont GAF about the rest, and yet they call themselfs fair and balanced, riot wants you to quit thats it, if you dont play with friends dont even try, just let the new ranked system cough ranked 5 cought be as riot is killing their game slowly, yet people will continue watching PRO, like LCS LPL LCK because its fun and say that because of the people watching their leagues is going up they are doing better, havent you asked yourself why old streamers left, simple its not a solo game anymore riot says PLAY AS 4-5 OR DONT PLAY AT ALL

Riot sides with the trolls... they dont ban trolls they ban the people who get trolled by them. More proof riot doesnt care about its community at all
