You say we need be patient about getting a Red. I've seen discussions in here with 500+ views and more comments than the discussion about getting a Red not have a Red while discussion with like 100 views and 20 comments get Reds. Please explain to us in full detail how you ACTUALLY give our discussions the mythical Red?

:P

They do realize that people would calm down if they showed up, right?

Its sort of iffy, until they start communicating with the community frequently all these pent up frustrations from no direct response will just be blasted at them.

Sadly that what's one would expect but the opposite is only true. The ones who were initially discussing are usually happy to have the red come in and contribute but then the added visibility brings in new faces that proceed to hammer every letter that the said Red put down, at least in my experience. Usually Reds prefer to reply to comments on very specific issues so they can actually address the topic somewhat before being dragged into another topic entirely by...well...everyone else.

Maybe both Riot and the community should think. Riot should think about hiring people just to read these forums. And the community should stop making so many forums on why Riot should nerf Fizz even harder than they just did.

Problem is that if they hire people to do that many people will begin to think that their posts with 10k downvotes deserves attention because it is a qq thread. If on the other hand they respond to every thread people will feel like reds are putting them down and being a dictatorship when in fact they are explaining why the idea is bad.

All in all the current model is probably the best and the only way to improve it is to have people magically be more informed

The Reds seem to avoid a lot of intense balancement discussions because they can get hammer pretty hard by the community sometimes.

What and how specific of an issue? First off some of these forums state bugs in them so those may be important. Second, how would you know about an issue without reading it?

Might help better if you reply directly to the post so its easier to see what you are reffering to, or at least quote them.

He's probably using chronological view rather than discussion view, it's a matter of personal preference

Oh! That would explain it on that matter.

What and how specific of an issue?

Issues that can be responded to and answered on 1 or 2 careful replies instead of an very broad issue that will create a drawn out discussion where they'll be harassed at every comment.

First off some of these forums state bugs in them so those may be important.

Known and most are read even if they haven't been commented on. Of that I can assure you.

Second, how would you know about an issue without reading it?

Never meant to imply they don;t read the OP and other context, just that it's much easier for Reds to comment to a comment than a post. So to increase your chances of getting a red you should prioritize community discussion rather than yelling "Hey Riot!". Hell, be open minded and you may even have your question or concern refined or answered by the community before a Red even comes by.

I attempted to but I don't expect a response.

P.S. I'm getting off now to go to bed. Good night and ignore this if it is creepy.

I once got like 4k+ views, no red i think tis more about the content than views

Well, thank you, but wouldn't it be nice to know that a Red at least LOOKED at your thread instead of thinking that they are shunning the community?
