This season with new rift I've noticed a terrible error with the dragon buffs.

Dragon buffs are great. It's cool to have objectives with heavier weight in the jungle. But on the opposite side of the same coin, and i'm not so much complaining as i am stating a fact. With the new dragon buffs and changes to baron and the addition of crab. In Solo q ranked if your jungler is bad or doesn't see dragon as an objective? You're screwed unless their jungle thinks the same. Because dragon buff is so strong and people somehow still don't realize it. It puts way too much swing over the game in a single role. I know jungle was basically always one of the more important role. But now it's to the point where if you have a bad jungle, it's over. There's no way to win that game. End of story.

TL:DR Too much weight in the jungle role, dragon buff OP. Bad jungles end games on their own.

I don't agree. Statistically the first dragon is still about as likely to win the game as it was before. And 2nd, 3rd, and 4th dragons seem less important than before. Although 5th obviously is more powerful than before.

You don't agree because you're thinking as if your jungle even bothers to go get first dragon. If that doesn't happen? The other team completely monopolizes them locking you out of the game even if you're leading in kills and towers. If i were to make a complaint about a specific dragon buff it would be the tower destruction. If they kill 1 of you they can literally dance around your tower hitting it while your team is under it completely avoiding an engage and take it for free. There's simply no room for counterplay.

The stats that first and second dragon provide aren't that effective.

Dragon isn't the objective of the jungler alone, it should be a team effort. Top could Tp bot for a gank then take dragon, Support can ward up the area and call for dragon. Mid can push the lane and roam bot for a gank then take dragon.

Dragon isn't the responsibility of just one player.

While your attitude is positive and constructive criticism is good, you don't play a lot of solo q do you. Teams don't collaborate like that in the slightest. And when they do it's very rare. And while no it isn't the responsibility of one player, it is the responsibility of the jungler to at least make even the smallest effort to be even remotely near it to secure. If they don't? Enemy jungle will steal and probably get a kill or two out of it. Also, what league are you talking about? Cause 6% AP and AD is pretty massive in the first 10 minutes of the game. That's easily enough to tip any neutral lane in the team that got dragons favor.

I honestly disagree. And it wouldn't hurt for you to at least lolking me before assuming I don't soloq alot, would it?

You've played 63 soloq this season, I've played 103.

I barely play anything else other than soloq.

6% AD/AP for the first 10 minutes? At which you would have about 120 AD and 50-80 AP? So they have 7.2 AD or 3 AP over you makes a huge deal? No, 6% doesn't not make up significant difference compare to position/mechanics/skill/shot calling.

Teams should collaborate for objectives. I don't know why you rarely see it, but that's how games are won.

Won this one yesterday, the other teams WW just was able to solo quicker than I. So they were able to get 4 drags. Even with 4 drags, my jungleness was able to carry the team to victory.

The key is that if you see another team going after drag with 4+ people....take towers...push the lanes. So many times my I'll be at fountain, and my team wants to get drag...but only 2 go there, and they try and engage all 5. If one of those two was someone with smite, I MIGHT be able to see the reasoning to try and steal it and sacrifice, but just let them have it and push out lanes.

I'm a jg/top main. I'd say that dragon is a snowball tool - it helps the team that's ahead more than it helps the team that's behind. So if you smitesteal dragon but lose 2 ppl in the process, you're actually setting yourself behind because the buff value isn't as big as the gold value you gave up + the EXP you are missing by dying. Of course you should take it if its free, and of course you should take 1st/3rd/5th buff before dragon, but if you're on dragon 1 already and decide to push inner bot vs. taking dragon 2, I'd say push inner bot.

It's actually really nice for jungler to have more power in the game rather than being the bitch of their lanes. However, not only is dragon buff not nearly as powerful as you seem to think (Dragons 1 and 5 have the most importance, with dragon 1 mostly only coming into play late game), dragon has NEVER been the sole responsibility of the jungler. The support should be helping to maintain ward coverage and sweep opposing wards out of the area. If your top laner took teleport, they should be ready to come in out of top lane. Your mid laner should likely either have a pink near dragon or baron whenever they can afford it.

Furthermore, if your jungler is bad then it's your responsibility as literally any other role to help pick up the slack. With proper vision control, the enemy jungler is going to be pretty hard pressed to steal a well timed dragon, especially if you convince your jungler to come by and at least help damage the thing.

So reevaluate exactly how much dragon is worth and exactly how little you think you can do about taking it. Because there are many teams among the pros who value dragon (outside the 5th) LESS now than in prior seasons and you should be bearing at least a little responsibility to assist or make up for your jungler in the game. It's a team game. Don't place all the weight for a team objective on one player.
