My complaints about Nasus. They are vast.

Say what you want, you can not argue this point on a serious level. Nasus is good at all stages of the game. He's an unstoppable machine lategame without constant, and i mean constant baby sitting. And the fact at 20 minutes he can 2 shot a tower regardless of the circumstances is just ridiculous. You're putting out all these champions that interact with the team in one way or another, Kalista, Yasuo, Bard, ect ect. And here you have Nasus. The warden of top. He just stays there separate from his team the entire game. You've given nerfs to champs with unlimited 1v1 potential to make them easier to deal with, (Udyr, Yi) that way just having one guy splitting top with the rest just holding towers mid isn't as viable of a strategy. Yet here is nasus. Since he has teleport he can just push top forever, it takes 3 people to stop him minimum. And he'll probably kill 2 of them. Please. Please do something about this champ. Now before you guys come in here with your "Hurr durr you ever seen a nasus in lcs? No? hurr durr nasus sucks ur just bad" Granted, in 5's it not as bad but it's still a huge problem. In soloq you might as well ff20. Even if top wins. Nasus will inevitably spiral out of control.

Towers have 2000 HP and 100 armor (50% damage reduction). You need to effectively deal 4000 damage to kill a typical tower.

With perfect CS for the first 20 minutes of the game, resulting in a Q stack for all 117 CS, you'd get 351 damage on Q, on top of the 110 base damage, Nasus's base AD (119), and Trinity Force's *2 base AD and +30 AD.

Which results in a 738 damage Q, doing 369 damage to a tower. Or 18.45% of the tower's HP.

The circumstance for Nasus to actually 2-shot a tower is getting 1613 damage through Q stacks or itemization. Even with a max-stack Sword of the Occult (110 damage) and Tri Force (268 damage) and The Bloodthirster (80 damage) for +458 damage, you'd still need 1155 Q stacks to deal exactly 1000 damage (50% of a tower's HP) to allow Nasus to 2-shot it.

And getting 1155 Q stacks at 20 minutes would require 3.29 times perfect CS - or killing every single minion in all 3 lanes (with siphoning strike) along with killing 111 of the 129 potential jungle spawns on your side of the map (assuming you instantly killed them the moment they spawned every 100 seconds for wolves/krugs/gromp/raptors), along with taking the 2 sigil monsters and their 4 guardians every 5 minutes.

You really, really, really suck at playing against Nasus. How do you let him farm literally half the map regardless of the circumstances? Literally half the map.

To be fair minions when damaging the tower lower the D stats.

Though i agree the OP is just bad against nasus.

Here is why this post won't get traction.

You have written a post that is either going to be, A: circlejerk, where no meaningful dialogue is had. or B: a thread where people try to argue, but you refuse to debate. (takes 2 to tango)

So, next time, don't start a post with "My opinion is right and cannot be debated, now hear me complain."

Nasus is unstoppble in late game, so you have to shut down him in early game, and this the job of this son of a noxian Darius

There's a list of top laners that should beat nasus in either the late or early game. Just takes skill

I am not sure i would take Hec into a Nas. The early game wither could mess up trades since x movement speed is part of damage.

Same thing for like champs Xin AS speed hit from wither could be problematic if lane got messed up. Could be countered with a cleanse though.

thicc as fuk3 votes

Heca was listed solely because of his immense map presence with tp once he hits 6. It's ridiculous and against someone like nasus that wont push lane too quickly you'll most likely get away with it. So if done right your entire team will be ahead while nasus gets a few free stacks.

As for xin I'd zone from cs with the fact that you're so much stronger in the early if he tried to farm force a fight on him without using audacious charge then he'll either be forced away from the farm again or wither you then you'll be able to freely engage once the wither ends with audacious charge.

I'm not even saying he's OP but the fact that he just needs to farm Q to auto-win lane @20 min is silly. There is almost no skill to him apart from playing safe and farming. He has so much sustain that he can farm forever under or near turret unless you outright kill him.

The Drewprint2 votes

You deserve a Darwin Award if you allow Nasus to free farm period.

It's stupid to claim you can stop a guy with massive innate lifesteal from farming. As I even stated in the post, he can farm under or near turret in complete safety. Should I take LB top just for Nasus?

The early game champs Nasus has trouble with just get outscaled so hard that it doesn't even matter if Nasus loses some cs in the process. If his innate lifesteal and tankiness isn't enough, he can always TP back to lane. A Nasus has to play REALLY badly to be unable to farm 1vs1 regardless of who you take vs him.

You ever consider that it, you know, is possible to prevent him from farming? Stop pretending he's untouchable, because he isn't.

Oh really, now? AatroxDrMundoDariusMordekaiserRivenRumbleMonkeyKingTrundleTeemo (to name a few).

Make him blow it if you join your team to pressure the other lanes and/or take objectives, then. Not rocket science.

A Nasus has to play REALLY badly to be unable to farm 1vs1 regardless of who you take vs him.

It's not like freezing your lane to make him farm under tower won't make him your bitch, right?

Your mentality is troublesome.

Lol at listing Mundo as someone who can stop Nasus.... Many top champs can't freeze lane without pushing when trading. This includes almost all in your list. If you harass Nasus with Darius, Riven, Morde etc., you will be pushing the lane hard at the same time.

The only counter to a COMPETENT Nasus is team-wide focus top. That's a lot of resources though and likely costs Dragon sometimes. The other thing you can do is try to have a top that scales similarly well.

His early game is terrible. With lane pressure you can keep him from free farming Q.

Take another split push champ that can handle him. Its not like Nasus has super good wave clear.

Lol i never see a Nasus and for good reason.
