Soulstealer Vladimir -- Literally Paying to Win?

I just played against a Vladimir sporting the Soulstealer skin, and it seemed like his abilities had extremely low sound as well as little to no effects, except for his W. His R was the biggest contender, the particles and sound were practically nonexistant, and me and my teammates didn't even know that we were ulted and all died.

Is this intended?

The spell SFX are lower for certain on the SS Vlad skin, however the ult VFX and SFX are much more dramatic and apparent than the base and other skins. It's not really an advantage however, if anything Blood Lord is an advantage considering it feels noticeably easier to cs, but it's very small.

What? I find his ultimate to be much more apparent then the base skin's. Not to mention the ultimate leaves a partical effect on you for it's duration. Also not to mention all of his skills can't miss except potentially his W and R. If you dont't notice his W I don't know what to tell you. But his skills are still relatively easy to see and can't be dodged so you should know when you are hit. Sorry if this came out kind of rude, but I actually, at times, have thought about how loud and obstrusive his spells are.
