Stop picking shit like KhaZix jungle and Nasus top. Play Gragas/Rek'Sai or other tanky utility junglers and less selfish top laners. Maokai, Malphite, champions with hard engage and tank stats.
I understand everyone in low elo wants to carry but if you have 3 people trying to carry you're just gonna lose if the team is at all better than you :^)
ALSO please stop playing fucking Sona for the love of god..
My team comp right now is Trynd/Kha/Sona/Jhin/Syndra. The Jhin is taking barrier because it's apparently better than heal :^) pls kill me
edit: this isn't my main account, my main was banned because I was toxic as shit and played carry jungles and couldn't get past p4 :^) haven't cared about ranked for months because of how frustrating this elo is. Might just make a new account and skip to gold. I'd prefer people to get better though so I can use this one

Nasus top got me from Gold to Platinum while maintaining a 70%+ win rate in both Season 5 and Season 6. This was first-picking Nasus and playing in a large amount of counter-matchups too.

If you know a champion and are good with them, you can make it work.

That said, I tend to prefer durable fighters and CC tank junglers largely because they tend to fix team compositions where everyone else picks a high-damage low-utility champion (and because I prefer their playstyle), so I'm not arguing against picking champions with utility or reliable fallback patterns.

People in Gold and lower should just play the champions they are good with and not try to fit compositions. It honestly doesn't matter in low elo. I am in high gold and right now I am starting to notice comps mattering a little bit more, but it is still best to play the champions you are best with.

I've climbed with Nasus as well, and currently I am the highest I have ever been after a year of playing. I almost never consider the comp unless I am playing support and my decision is always just 2 or 3 supports.

I think it's more of that they don't know what good champions are at all. They don't realize that a good champion has ways of coming back into the game by having cc or some other utility that it can provide to a team when behind. The other big problem with low elos not being able to climb is that they don't maximize their gold income and xp gain. They need to learn how not just last hit, but know how to get farm efficiently out of laning phase without getting caught out.

meh have played with worse comps and won. Doesn't have to be LCS meta to work, especially in low elo.

The problem is that your damage dealers suck if you tank, which is why if you are the better player you have to do the damages. KDA is not =/= being good in that role.

If you suck though, yeah feel free to be a not-cocky easy tank and don't pretend you know what you're doing even if you get carried to plat without learning the game just like every bullshit Nasus / WW / Amumu main.
