One of Socrates arguments for DQ over SQ

He said in the recent video that one of the big things was in game harassment was drastically lower with dq. Look, I'd rather get flamed to the moon by a frustrated carry than get basically trolled/ignored by a premade 3 on my team. I would rather be flamed than not be able to measure my personal skill. Dynamic Queue just seems to take away so much more than it's giving.

edit: not meaning to sound like every trio+ flames, I just don't think that should even be a factor. I don't think it should be possible to get flamed by a trio because I don't think trio+ should exist.

Isn't it obvious there will be less "toxicity" if you're in a premade? I think it's a really weak argument to say Dynamic Q reduces flaming/trolling.

Yeah that was one of the absolute worst arguments for something I've ever heard, much less form just Riot....

I mean yes ofc flaming goes down in a system where a decent amount of players are either in voice chat or at least already friendly with the people they've made a premade with, it completely and entirely skews the fucking results on toxicity!

In the previous iterations, take soloQ and team5sQ. Sure, soloQ was insanely toxic, far more then dynamicQ, but team5sQ had almost no toxicity, which was written off for a good reason, people were Q'ing together with others they wanted to play with specifically.

WELL RIOT YOU JUST COMBINED THOSE TWO THINGS SO OF FUCKING COURSE THE TOXICITY WILL GO DOWN!!!!!

You not only have to compare soloQ toxicity to that of dynamicQ, but also ranked5sQ to dynamicQ, that's the only fair way to truly get a grasp of how it has all changed and shaped up.

Sadly they don't even seem to understand what the term "Fair" means anyway, so they won't ever bother doing it correctly, not as long as the incorrect way helps them try to make their faulty points......

Actually, dynamic queue is MORE toxic in the bronze-gold levels, but why does riot care, all they care about is diamond, plat, masters and LCS making them money and not a huge majority of their player base..

Socrates was actually tried and convicted by Athens for trying to introduce different political ideas to his students.

Just a fun fact.

Lowering toxicity means less people get banned, and that's what Riot wants. They don't LIKE banning players. You can say you would rather get flamed but that's not up to you. It's Riot's prerogative to lower toxicity in any way they can.

dynamoc queue does not reduce toxicity, but change it into a more passive but disgusting form.

My problem is that the way you phrase your statement makes it sound like all premades flame/troll on a regular basis
