I see only one toxic champion there and that's 
I'll run down the list.
Syndra - She's fine by my list. I've heard some people complain about her, but most people seem to be fine with her. Zed - I don't like him too much, but I dont think he's toxic. (Maybe really strong though.) A decent portion of Boards seems to disagree with the second part of my first statement though. Yasuo - I hate playing against him, but that's because I play a lot of champions that aren't so good against him. (I guess I wish that I played against him more, so that I'd learn to take advantage of his weaknesses better.) Boards seems to be divided on how toxic he is. Nidalee - Fine by my list. Boards is divided about her though - her feast or famine playstyle is really extreme. Zyra - She's fine. Draven - He's fine. Shyvana - She's really strong right now, but not toxic. Riven - I think she's somewhat toxic. (Not saying anything about Riven players though. I'm of the opinion that if you play Riven, you're deserve to be treated like any other LoL player playing any other champion.) LeBlanc - Playing against her is thrilling when even, albeit ridiculously frustrating when behind. Is she toxic? I don't think so, but she's on the verge of being so. Boards hates her though, I think. Vayne - She's fine. (Nothing about Vayne players either...) Katarina - She's fine. Azir - He's fine. Nami - Absolutely toxic. I can't believe you can play this champion and can go to sleep at night without guilty nightmares. (She's fine.) Sivir - She's fine. Kalista - She's frustrating to fight against whenever I play against her, and it doesn't seem to be with just one champion, so I'll say she's toxic. I don't think she's that strong right now, but I believe she's toxic. Ezreal - He's fine, but really strong at the moment. Lucian - Same as Ezreal. Fiora - I'm honestly fine with her, but I understand why everyone seems to hate her. (Poor woman... imagine if she read what people were saying about her!) Kindred - They're fine. Diana - She's fine.

i think your friend just hates those champions. none of them except for zed and leblanc have anything toxic about their kit. unless you count nidalee's spears on a stupidly low cooldown as toxic, but at least you can dodge them.
The Draven balances it out.
