He was originally a mid laner, and if you play him mid even today, you can be very successful, I recommend changing his W completely, maybe make it a gap closer or speed up so we don't have to fight this jg kog maw bullshit and characters can be played in their normal roles.

No, have your jungler do it, theres no reason any competent jungler shouldn't be able to destroy him (due to his lack of ability to fight back alot of the time)
Even if they don't fight him directly, his objective control is pretty bad.
To top it all off "make it a gap closer". I'm pretty sure getting closer to an enemy, runs completely counter to Kog'Maw's interests, he wants to stay as FAR from his opponents as possible.
Bagguette1 votesWhat if the kog is actually backing every 2 camps or is in a premade with 2 tanks that are ready to come in the jungle and counter invade? You make it sound simple but its really not.
Plus, Junglers in my elo (Gold 5-4) Don't counter jungle often. I do it at the 5-6 minute mark depending on what side they started and gets them almost every time. But if a game goes on for 30 minutes, the team with kog maw and 2 tanks pretty much wins.
zlumpy3 votesPretty sure kog was originally a bot laner actually. He just got a kit that worked best in mid. Hence the reason his rework was an attempt at putting him back in bot lane.
Also what is wrong with champs being viable in different positions. Imo that is way healthier for a moba than forcing people into one spot. Most interesting jungle I ever saw was someone using blasting smite with Ziggs before. It hilarious just how effective it was because no one expected his shennanigans.

Birb3371 votesI think kog is pretty balanced the way he is, I mean if you have a problem with him you should have one with kindred who is just as capable of shredding.
In reality kog mid isnt even the best out there, kat and cass can screw him and a fed rengar kha or just about any assassin can destroy him if they get on top of him. Besides I heard he was getting nerfed season 7 anyways, which will probably make him unplayable in the lower elos. Dont see many good kogs
