Best Kog build in this situation?

I'm wondering what fellow kogs are building since the revert.

Not a build expert here; I usually follow what others do. I was going the item 3078 into item 3153 build but the loss of crit onitem 3078 makes it less appealing. So I've been rushing item 3087 for the wave clear and crit. In this particular game I opted out of item 3036 since there wasn't much I needed to cut through. But I had so much gold I was like wtf(reak) do I buy lol.

Thoughts? Best build path for a ranked game? What about a build for when you're as rich as Scrooge and want to take out Tiny Tim? (jk lol)

Trinity first feels like the weakest opening for Kog. It just doesn't have the oomph he needs.

If you want the most damage possible, a bog-standard Marksmen crit build will get it for you. Due to his Q, Koggy can skip Regards since its Giant Slayer effect only boosts physical damage and go for some other situational item instead. You'll be terrible until you have three complete items, but that's Kog for you.

Kog can also run a 14 MPen rune page and rush Wit's End, effectively giving him true damage against soft targets for an absolutely devastating mid-game power spike. If you pair it with Rage and stack the thing up on a Tank before swapping to a priority target, it isn't unusual to see them vaporize in three seconds. If you ARE going with Wit's/Rage on Kog, I would recommend pairing it up with Mallet and rounding out the build as the situation demands. Kog wants a bit of bulk and stickiness to help him reliably stack Rageblade.

If you're feeling exceptionally ballsy, Juggermaw (item 3091 item 3047 item 3110 item 3065 item 3143 item 3083) catches a lot of people by surprise and outputs enough damage between Wit's and Ult spam to be enough of a threat to attract focus to distract from your team's real glass cannons.
