"Don't play ranked until you practice in sandbox."

Why would they (Riot) discourage actual gameplay against actual opponents trying to win? They don't want anyone to feel pressured or to depend on a sandbox mode to be good; which, without a doubt, is the inevitable fate of this practice field.

The rage towards players having a bad game would increase dramatically. If you can't see that, then kindly remove your blindfold. LeeSin

There's a large enough flaming issue as it is, and all this community does is throw twigs at the fire.

Riots logic here is both understandable and reasonable.

If your going to pursue every case of toxicity amongst players it will be like the racial divide in America.

"WHO SAID BLACK? YOU RACIST!"

You can't deny a lot of players something that makes sense just because someone might be toxic.

I fail to see the relation to the "racial divide in America," nor do I see the sense that you're referring to. My main point is that Riot doesn't want to make players feel as if they depend on this sandbox mode to succeed in League. Which, like I said, would eventually happen.

As opposed to now. Where players feel they need to depend on the custom mode to succeed.

Players feel that having a mode would be fun to experiment with and try things that are normally impractical in a live scenario.

IE: Flashing through walls, using combos against unresponsive AI, testing damage with full builds against other full builds.

It's not going to become the standard of playing, it's just a mode many other games offer.

I just can't help but feeling that advanced players, and set teams, would feel obliged to have put in X hours of sandbox to get an edge on their competitors. I know Riot seemed to take aim at a more casual player in their comments, but that's how I see it.

"racial divide in America" ... everyone is so sensitive about saying anything racist that you live in fear of offending people.

"We can't implement this because it might cause people to troll their teammates with abusive comments"
