Minimap and Varus QoL

So two things I would really like to see changed:

Minimap targetting: I've screwed myself in more teamfights and duels than I can count by accidentally mousing over the minimap. Please, put an optional keybinding on minimap targeting, so that if set, I cannot target via minimap unless holding the key/mouse button it's bound to. I've been wanting this for 2 seasons now so now I'm asking.

Varus q: I play a lot of Varus, he's one of my favorite champs, but one thing about his kit frustrates me. While charging Varus q, you can neither place trinkets, nor ping. It feels super bad to have to put your q on cd to place a trinket for vision, and worse when you need to do it to ping. And last I tried, it wasn't even consistent. You can't place trinket while charging q, but pinging will immediately fire your q in that direction.
