In terms of agency, Season 8 is by far the worst.

I have never, EVER, felt as hopeless in any game as I do in these Season 8 League of Legends games. It does not matter how well I do. I am completely at the mercy of the rest of my team, hoping to God that they decide not to throw (or feed in the first place). It seriously feels like I have zero control over the outcome of the game. I feel like this is made even worse by the snowball meta... Sure, I might do well Mid or top, but if the enemy bot lane starts picking up steam, there's very little that I can do to stop it. Does anyone else feel this way?

That's mostly because the balance team has a pretty fucked up vision of League.

The lane power currently goes: Bot > Jungle > Mid > Top

Add here that Jungle timers force Junglers to gank and get their teammates ahead and you get a game where you have to depent on your team. And that's isn't fun.

These jungle changes really sucked the fun out of solo lanes. You dont have vision, you clearly always get the monkey in the jungle not helping with vision and whenever you dare try to punish your opponent they are already there. I've had toplaners completely abandon the lane for three waves for one gank botlane and that wins them the game. Idk this game even anymore.

I'm Riven main and last game I ended up feeding even tho I got 1st blood and was winning my lane, simply because my jg was trash and enemy jg ganked me literally 6 times, it's sad that even tho I was better than my lane opponent I end up with poor kda simply because the enemy jg is much better than mine. Just tryed out playing jg, so I don't talk shit without even trying playing it but i ended up carrying the whole game without even trying hard. It's so easy to win games as jungler. I really love playing Riven but toplane is not fun anymore, I hate that fucking lane, but I love champs like Riven or Camille so I won't leave it.

I feel like my team can pull ahead even if I do poorly, and I can pull ahead even if my team performs badly. My last two games were both examples of this.

In my last game I was getting fuckin' destroyed in top lane just from constant 2 or 3v1. Nothing I could do about it. But my team popped off and this let me do my job and EVENTUALLY catch up. In the game before that, I had to solo-carry and I did just that.

Honestly, this feels like the best season so far to me.

You mean the useless lane? In S8 it doesn't matter if you won top or not, but GOD FORBID it's a vayne top. If vayne top gets fed its GG, might as well just sit in base and open up pornhub.

Bot lane is so stupid. Once they get to a certain point ahead of others there's nothing you can do since it's all auto attacks. You have to pray for them to toss hard.

Pretty much. Every game i play has kog, trist, twitch, vayne banned. Simply because they will just solo carry with their shield bitch.

Funny that no other lane has equivalent hyper carries. Like GP is anywhere near the level of these bot laners, or even Azir.

I kinda understand what you are talking about, from this season when I win botlane and feed my adc/let him farm and keep enemy adc away from farming I pretty much every time end up winning the game. To make it fair though I play mostly what makes it easier to win. I disagree that there is a little to stop it, as you probably don't try to do it in a smart way. As minimum playing mid you can roam to bot, playing top you can abuse enemy jungler or make tp to botlane back, you can also try to pick utility mid to sustain your team.

Tp bot and fail the gank while your top laner is takign your turret. Or only getting one kill and you lose first turret because it took too long to get back to lane. Unless you have a one shot or master roamer, i.e. talon, riven, zed, annie, then bot ganks usually dont work since it's always warded and they have more time to respond to ping mias.

Not sure if last one was about toplaners coming bot. You ask your sup/adc make a deep ward and you tp there. Playing tanks works pretty well. Of course if you tp straightforward enemy has time to run away.

People need to realize that the need to rely on your team some =/= little player agency. You still have the potential to have a lot of influence on the game and do as you want if you play your cards right, but in the end:

THIS IS A TEAM GAME, AND IF YOU THINK YOU CAN WIN BY YOURSELF EVEN IF YOUR TEAM IS MEH AND YOU ALL IN ALL AREN'T COOPERATING, THINK AGAIN! IF YOU WANT TO RELY ONLY ON YOURSELF, GET A DIFFERENT GAME!

This is exactly why I find it ironic when you check your MMR and it says "Your MMR will continue to tank unless you improve your game play!"

Yeah as if I could control the 4 other people on my team. There's only so much one individual can do.

that's usually how team games work, literally everywhere. If there is a game with teamplay that doesn't put you at the mercy of your teammates then that aspect of that game has failed you.

more like "if you are able to carry games through pure mechanical expertise while ignoring teamplay then the system is broken" this is true for any game take call of duty for example if you go into 8v8 ground war Team death match then you are likely to be able to solo carry using your skills alone by pubstomping people who are doing the same. Whereas if you enter 4v4 SnD and your team goes to A bomb you are at their mercy because if you go B alone and the enemy team has decided to go there as well your about to get lit up, and if you don't manage to take someone with you your team is likely to lose the impending 3v4

Honestly, no matter how well you do in your lane, it does not matter if your team is garbage or a bunch of monkies. If you don't win your lane by more than 20 kills, good luck (this is an exaggeration- trying to get point across). Only ways to win league at this point:

get insanely fed to the point you can 1 v 5 them
have a decent team that does not suck balls
hope their team is also full of monkies
hope their team does not know how to close games or group or rotate, etc
hope your team does not feed anyone
hope your team does not troll, flame, afk, or int

There are just too many variables in LoL to be able to climb effectively unless you are faker-level god-tier skill level mechanically. Because there are too many times I go even in my lane or win by a little, where the rest of their team comes running into my lane and fucking me over and over until my laner gets caught back up while my team is monkeying around, dying off something doing who knows what and being ultimately useless. The thing is, if riot has their matchmaking done well, games should be close and no lane should be 10/0 7 minutes in the game... While I always have a team who fights every other minute, god knows why, even when they are so behind, they can't just wave-clear and go even in their lanes, to give me a chance to carry.

Yeah I agree, way worse than the past 2 seasons. People trying out ranked after two years of not playing. you are retarded. People playing ranked without reading patch-notes.

Games should not be this frustrating in silver. Gold was easy to climb in because players have some sort of game knowledge (when to close in on towers after getting kills,or getting first turret and then dragon after) LIKE ANYTHING> Riot your game is becoming trash for people who are and have been trying to rank up.

How can you go to work and come home expect to ladder when there are all these half bred monkeys trying to be faker but dont know shit about the game.

The last one was about top. Tping bot from top is 80% worthless as the bot lane has more than enough time to respond and you end up losing xp and farm. The only time tping bot is worth it is if the top lane turret is healthy enough, if you are pushing the wave in, or if the enemy is in the middle of a fight and they are pushed far up enough for them not to be able to get back to safety. Then you have to factor in whether the enemy jgler will counter gank and if the enemy top laner has tp. It is more useful for top lane to save their tp for their own lane. By the time an opening presents itself to tp bot and benefit from the tp, the wards that were there dies and you cannot tp.

There is only one option: do what 50% players did in 2018 go play others games league of legends is not a funny games you always play with monkeys... You will lose 6 of 10 games... God luck with your bronza degradation... Lol lost 50% of his player base in 2018... Urf sucks. Ranked sucks... Normal games is meh... And yeah you can plays lots of games better than this... Even fortnite is better with that shit graphics... Pubg still better....it's meh...
