Meta vs. Non-meta
Meta is safe, tried and true, and usually ends up in 'Whoever is the most meta wins'. Most consider it boring, but it's arguably the only thing that's balanced since it's what you're going to see in the LCS.
Non-meta is fun, exciting, a chance to display personal skill over which champion is overtuned at the moment. A skilled Fiora player can go in the jungle versus a Shyvana and win even tough Fiora isn't that strong in the jungle. (Personal experience, went 14-2.) You're not gonna see anything like this in the LCS though because it's too risky, and with the new rune system it's very two-dimensional; Not a lot that you can really do to break new ground. No hidden op crit Annie support build or whatever.
Which do you prefer? Do you take Pantheon top to smash your lane, or are you the kind of person who plays tanky mage Rakan mid and scales into the mid-game for teamfights? I'm interested in knowing!
