riot ranked teams was an amazing fun way for me to play with my friends and know how strong we are as a TEAM
even if one of us is diamond and one of us is bronze. we can play together and have our TEAM ranked properly
riot. league is not fun for me if i cannot play with my team that i have come to enjoy playing with
i will quit if ranked teams is not returned

I guess logically speaking, if Riot doesn't care about this. Then their must not be enough weight in Ranked teams. Perhaps the format was problematic, or it was too difficult for people to form full, coherent teams. Or perhaps the absent of people or teams made the waiting Q too long.
Either way, This fixes more problems that it creates. So they are going to move forward with it.
