ARAM needs more seriousness

I know, it's just a game and I shouldn't worry about my ARAM ELO... but I do. I want a way to control my defeats so I don't have a champ I never played, am forced to play it, and risk getting banned as a feeder cuz I'm bad with the champ. Every time I do less than perfect I'm scared the team or enemy is waiting to get me banned... and yet my ELO is not where I want it to be.

What can I do? I feel like I might be slipping into insanity... but I'm not sure any more. A draft mode gameplay OPTION for HA could help control things, you'd be surprised how poke will fall off at higher ELO, but I'm not sure it'll sate my needs to never have losses or to thank enemies for beating me.

The only change ARAM desperately needs is for all champs to be enabled.

It's ARAM, who cares. I play it to have fun and hopefully use a new champ, or someone I don't know very well. I'm not in ARAM hoping to get my mastery 7 champs. What fun is that? I might as well play ranked. Don't take it so seriously, it's a chill mode.

Why not? People care about their ranks, and those aren't much more important than ARAM MMR, outside of a few exceptions (e.g. Gold for skin, Challenger for loot). If you want to care about your ARAM MMR, go for it.

With that said, you probably shouldn't care as much as you currently seem to. Everyone has bad games and losses occasionally. League is, in the end, just a game for most people. Relax a bit.

As a side note, draft HA wouldn't really work. There aren't enough balance changes to shift the meta, so you'd mostly just end up seeing the same champs be pick/ban year after year. It might be different if Riot stopped neglecting non-SR maps, but that unfortunately doesn't seem likely.

its literally the only place where you can do stupid shit like playing ad janna.

if youre looking for more serious games, play customs with your friends or que up for ranked. likewise people who dont take ranked games seriously should piss off and que up for arams and blinds.

i dont understand why its so hard for casual and competitive players to stick to their respective gamemodes. thats why we have them.

all random all mid

only real change that needs to happen is all champions unlocked for every one and increased dodge timers. by a lot

if you join a fun mode meant to be fun for every one then you should play as intended. with a chance to get any random champion. there are to many aram only accounts that gives the player a unfair advantage where its no longer "all random" but "a very high chance you will get some one op in aram" all mid

as for the dodge timers being increased. this would keep people from dodging so the game can be played the right way. dot like your champion? to bad. its random. either play it or don't, but if you don't, you getting punished for signing up to get A RANDOM champion

also its not a serious mode and other then these two changes it is light hearted and needs to stay that way (tho it could be argued these would make it even more light hearted )

Nobody has answered why a second option to play HA with draft mode would be a bad thing to offer those who want it.

I don't wanna take away ARAM, I just want a new option called ADAM.

I'm tired of not getting a good elo. A Draft mode option could let people control it more, and maybe my blood pressure would go down if I could play champions I know rather than those I don't and risk getting reported for it.

maybe you should relax
