An Idea for Mordekaiser Kit Rework

So I'm not a regular Morde player, but he was the first champ I ever actually bought and I have always had a soft spot for the big metal dude. Given the recent controversy over the changes being iterated on PBE, I thought I'd share an idea I had for his ultimate to make it feel more impactful/fun.

The current problem is that his ultimate only really feels impactful if you can kill the target quickly enough. Otherwise they'll just run away from you before you get your damage off and the ult is essentially wasted. Without cc there's no real way to force the person to stand near you, and with the PBE changes his damage output takes much longer to get across.

Here's my proposed change - make Creeping Death part of his ultimate. So Morde is the "master of metal" right? Well what emphasizes this more than a swarming cloud of metal engulfing your terrified victim?! Since the ult already inflicts damage over time, what I'm proposing is that when Morde casts his ult on an enemy, both he and the victim are surrounded by metal clouds. Additionally, Morde gets 60% move speed when moving toward the afflicted enemy and does damage to those around him (just as creeping death already does).

Obviously number would have to be tuned properly and you'd have to find something to fill the void of Creeping Death in his kit, but what I like about this is that it gives him a clear identity in team fights. His job is single in on that one target and then just wade through his opponents to stalk them down. I think this plays into his lore thematics nicely and gives him that "impending doom" sustained damage style that Riot seem to be looking for. It also somewhat solves the issue of lacking cc without forcing him back into a squishy burst mage role.

It's not a perfect idea, but i'm interested to hear people's thoughts.

TLDR - Make Creeping Death part of his ultimate, engulfing himself and his enemy victim in a swirling cloud of metal and giving him significantly increased move speed when moving towards the afflicted enemy (numbers would be tuned obviously). This would allow him to become a tanky scrapper who singles out a single foe and stalks them down as a tanky sustained damage dealer instead of a burst mage.
