Now I'm not a rengar main, hell I barely even play him, but I wanted to know something. I understand how antifun it is to play against a good rengar and he dominated in solo queue specifically for the reason that he could merc someone absolutely with his combo, but this patch it seems like they took away the speed he can kill with the cast time on e mid jump and reduced burst on q, and they kind of just added that on to khazix (being able to cast w somewhat mid air). With this in mind, and seeing how much his winrate dropped on champ gg this makes me wonder has Rengar died this patch... is he no longer playable because he cant' dive carries and one shot anymore or should people adopt a tanky dps build with him more now?

I haven't seen anyone play him this patch, seems like his purpose, killing the enemy adc, is gone now. He can't kill anyone before he gets CC'ed and eliminated.

Yea, I genuinely don't like rengar but I feel like riot kind of just did a whole numbers game thing and killed a champ instead of trying to rework in a way that he still has a purpose.

I have always played him tanky dps top, but thank god the burst invis champ is gone lmao, theres so much compilation of pro ADC/MID screaming when they see the exclamation mark ontop of their head xD

I feel like that might just be the way rengar will be played now because of decreased burst but higher dps.

Imo its more fun to play him Bruiser then Assassin. You can still kill the ADC with just Hydra BC anyway, then you can survive with like DMP and Randiuns Spirite Visage or even a GA.

He is easy to counter the people who complain are people who haven't played as him and before this patch his win rate was like 45 % meanwhile several Champs win rate is still over 55 % but rengar is op........
